Looked like some uranium glass which is somewhat desirable. Enjoy these box lot auctions. Wished they had more of those kind of auctions where I live. Some cool finds Taco!

Yes! I hope your comment gets 3000 likes. Maybe that would convince him. It took getting sick and injured for me. I'd Love to see him and Salsa play around the pond, or not. That would mean him making another video. I'd just Love for him to take some time to smell the flowers per se, and breathe. I'd like to watch Taco take some time off.

Nothing like coming home and passing out after an Estate box Auction. The worst is when you cant find anything at a decent price after 5 hours. Those black forest clocks were great.

Hi Taco, as a Horologist, it's making me scream ! That is the WORST way to carry a clock ! It's a 'Napoleon Hat, Westminster Chime' Clock and you can hear the gongs and hammers crashing around - terrible ! The Cuckoo Clocks were a good price, just for parts. I have a house full of striking/chiming clocks here - gets a bit noisy around 12 o'clock ! Great auction Taco - you did well. Take care 🙂

One of the clocks in the clock box could be a Lux Pendulette clock. Those were novelty clocks from the 20-40's. If they are working and in good shape they can sell for decent money. I have 2 that I love. The mantel clock was probably the one that was chiming. When my Grandparents passed, I took a mantle clock that my Grandpa made (he loved making and repairing clocks) and the first night in my house I had to disarm the chimes. Holy cow they were loud. The clock stays proudly on my mantel, but no chimes lol.

My great aunt had a clock shaped like that Westminster clock and it would cling/clang all day and all night, Every 15 minutes it would go through a sequence. Even as a child, I would wonder "why" would any one have a clock like that. The yellow glass looks very nice.

I had a haunted cuckoo clock. It kept on dropping pinecone weight on the floor and the weight was on a hook. I finally took the cuckoo clock down and it’s in a box in my basement. 😂

The big round clock is refers to as a mantel clock. Likely the chimes in it was what was chiming. Some good things, I like the truck banks as well 👍👍

I still do...like toy cars and trucks...have a nice collection of vintage Smith Miller Trucks...they were made from the late 40s to mid 50s...mine are new old stock...found them in an old shuttered toy shop years ago. Those banks you got are pretty neat looking.

I love auction box lots, can get lots of inventory for very, very, very low cost. I usually get them for $5 or less.

About once a month there is a box lot auction from noon to about 5PM , then a regular auction for furniture or special items. It's about an hour away from my house so I rarely go unless it it stuff I really want. Glad you found some stuff to sell.

I would love to see all the banks lined up. My bank collection was stolen and I need some new ones.

Phew!! That was a really fun but REALLY long auction! You did get some very good items! Love the clocks, banks and depression glass!! My bank had the brass car banks in the 90s! I think I still have one somewhere! 😂 p.s. don’t get rid of that little clock piece…it may go to one of the clocks! Maybe tape it on if you find which one!!☺️

When you showed the plates you got, one of the plates beneath the one you picked up, looked like flow blue pattern which is collected. I couldn't see enough of it to be certain. I'm a newbie at your channel and enjoying the ride! Thanks!

I’m really worried about you Taco. You need to take better care of yourself. Working every day as hard as you do is very hard on the body. Do something fun and relaxing for yourself. Maybe play with the cars like you did as a child. It’s fun to play, it’s also good for the soul. I play with toys all the time and I am a great grandmother. In a retreat I went to we finger painted. We had so much fun and laughed so hard. Peace ☮️ and you and in my prayers. Hug Salsa for me.

The chime was coming from The mantel clock. It may be haunted, because I could swear I saw an electric cord coming off the back of it, an old electric cord. I wouldn't have thought that the clock would chime with no source of power. If it were a windup clock then I could understand that little jolting knocked the gears that the chime used. God knows I have the worst time with mantel clocks trying to get them to run. Cuckoo clocks I have a lot better luck at. The first cuckoo clock you showed looks like you're only going to be able to sell it for parts. They are somewhat tricky to fix, and pricey. Take care of yourself get some rest.

I hate at these auctions where the auctioneer moves around to the stuff there are always people who want to stand right beside the auctioneer and block the view for others and 99% ofthe time they never buy or bid on anything

He needs to relax, not muscle relaxers. Hopefully he'll learn that, before he does need pain meds. Which are extremely unsafe. He needs to slow down. It's making me uncomfortable.
