    The CB90 can also be equiped with Helfire misiles. Sweden donates 10pcs and Holland another 3pcs. Holland and Sweden together also will donate 50pcs or so of fast squad level transport boats.

    Another commenter and I debated the possibility of using a modern iteration of PT boats. I wonder if small craft like these could be upgraded with torpedoes or not. It would seem right up Ukraine's alley, a small, maneuverable craft able to punch above it's weight while still retaining the ability to shoot down drones seems like it could be ideal when complementing craft like the CB90.

    Forget about vessel specs. What makes the Swedish CB90 tactically superior to any Russian equivalent is that the Swedish crew is professionally trained, are not being abused by their officers, and do not suffer from corruption and alcoholism!

    CB90 is maybe the best amphibious small boat ever made, there just simply cannot be enough of them, and the ability to customize them to rocket launchers and sub hunters.

    @@carlossaraiva8213 I'll rephrase what OP stated has it's a bit convoluted wording: Combat Boat 90 is splendid, it can easily be converted and adapted for different tasks. It is probably the best vessel for amphibious operations ever made, just a pity the numbers available is not unlimited.

    Its better they send the old ones and build new ones for themself. Too high risk sending new frontline vehicles when they can get captured and the tech stolen. Those boats are made for nordic archipelagos where they have bigger advantage over larger ships.

    You really need to do some reading up on how much ground service and facilities you need to implement to introduce a whole new weapons platform like that, especially in a conflict zone. It´s NO WAY near what it takes to get some ground force equipment stuff over there. You need to calm down.

    I’ve been on board SB90N several times. A very capable and adoptable coastal vessel for sure, still the design is getting old now. Water jets have many advantages, but such systems are both a bit heavier and less efficient than good propeller systems. High consumption means limited range. And ... the video title is still just silly.
