You are so underrated

2:53, this perfectly explains how I go about riding down hills like the one on SW Vista Avenue here in Portland, Oregon. Especially at around 2-3:00 P:M, a lot of cars can show up, so you have to launch at a time when there's a period of time of no cars for several seconds. Then once you DO get someone behind you, you gotta REALLY speed up and flex your skills! I did that just yesterday and it was amazing. 😍

Thanks for making this video, glad the algorithm recommended it, i've loved my long board but am not so fond of the hills around my area and the kind of lack of speed control that longboards give you if you aren't particularly good at shaving off speed, which i'm not when the wheels are limited to only one direction and having to distribute weight incredibly fast, i very much like this idea and board, might cop one in the future, if i do, i'll use the link in the description :) very cool

It will take time unfortunately for a new Freebord like the 5x or 5 to arrive at your door if you live in America, but the good news is that there are MANY people selling boards second hand for ridiculously good deals, and I recommend starting with a used board ANYWAY to get the basics down and to find out if you like Freebord or not. That is how I did it. 😁

Nice Video again! Inspiring. ANd yeah the hooks are really nice and its always easy to get out of it fast :)

Im glad it helped, stick with it and once it clicks you'll realise how much fun it is!

For me I learned snowboarding first then freebord later. Snowboarding in every season😁

I'm coming to UK tomorrow, can't wait to find and try some road to shred with the 5X!

7:35, honesty, maybe it's just me, but my 5x has been hella durable, and has had few issues for the most part. The only difficulties I've had with the 5x is just finding good replacement bearings and wheels. 😂

Not sure how much you care or can do anything about it, but watching this video made me physically nauseous. I know the 360 cams open a new world of self filming, but they shine because you can choose what "frame" to use out of the 360 available. But the shots where you hold the frame stable, but then whip it around when you spin... yech. I don't know if it's just the timing and spinning the "frame" a little slower would help? But I literally sighed with relief during the tripod shots.
