"Not for full time living." Ok, but manufacturers say the same thing about most 5th wheels, don't they? That cottage is exactly what people are buying for living tiny (tiny homes on wheels). I didn't catch the square footage but max of 399 sq ft qualifies as a tiny house I believe.

We have these by the thousands in Az rv parks. We call them park models. Mostly winter visitors use them but we have lots of full timers. I’m in construction and we often add a full what they call Az room, with an additional bath and living area. They will also add a residential air conditioner, ground set and hook to the ducting under the home.

You crack me up JD! Sorry, but this is definitely a tiny house, even if that’s not what they’re calling it. Go look at any tiny house built on a trailer and they’ll look like this. Some nicer, some not as nice, but this is a tiny house. Go to a tiny house builder and they’ll show you several models. Some builders only built more luxury, and others just build the shell and the buyer completes the finishes. The only difference with this one is that it’s not four season, which most are. Tiny homes are built just like a house with a wood frame.

This would be awesome if it were an RV. It’s a nice, small mobile home with some RV-style lofts. It was given a “10” by people who were looking at it as an RV. It would be interesting to see a comparison of it to other small park model mobile homes on a non-RV channel. Likewise, a Sprinter, Transit, or ProMaster is really impressive if one reviews it as if it were a minivan.

We have a very similar unit to this from a different manufacturer that we keep on a permanent site in a campground. These generally get a mini-split system for heat and A/C which is often installed on site after the unit is setup. Which would make sense with there being none in this. Some get a window unit like this for the loft although we have another mini split head in ours for the loft.

The tallest trailer you can get and no special permits to tow around has a height of 11"3'. It's a specialty trailer you use to have a mobile automotive garage. At least in the states Special permitting is only necessary for anything that can't fit under a highway bridge. You'd have to rig brake lights and rear turn signals to the unit in transport but I wouldn't be shocked if someone with a dually came in bought one and towed her off.

Tiny Hones On Wheels are a thing. Not all of them are designed for off-grid living. Likewise, not all of them are designed for frequent travel. Some are designed to only do 1-2 trips from the factory location to the destination. Canadian RVs and Tiny Homes can be wider and taller than those in the USA. Still impressive, though. Q: How is not for full time living?

Living in something full time means constantly being in the unit. If something is rented out as a business year round means that someone is there all the time. So regardless if it is a single owner living there, or rented out to strangers, if someone is there all the time then it’s full time.
