RC8 is a classic of the future...

I just rode a friends rc8 the other day, and oh Boy!! I had a smile on my face the whole ride!! Super fast!! And light!! I'm more of a dirt rider, but if I was going to get a super bike the 1190 rc8 is the one!!

Thanks for sharing your new RC8. Man that thing is gorgeous . I have a 16 SDR with all the GOODIES. Rottweiller , Dyna jet, Quick Shift. OMG it rides like a true BEAST. Take care getting to know your KTM . Keep the rubber down. Hope you get to take it to a track sometime , where it will really strut its stuff.

Owned an RC8 a few years ago and hated it until I installed the O2 eliminator kit which smoothes out the throttle response at low rpm. Loved the easy adjustability of everything I.E handle bars, subframe hight and rearsets and the handling was amazing, only gripe was the top speed.

I was at the show on Friday, which was very good but was sad Aprilia weren't there this year. New BMW RR looked nice and seemed pretty comfortable for a sports bike. It will be interesting to see if they update the single R soon. There were some good deals to be had and I came away with new gloves. The only face I recognised at the show was Ruby Rides.

Watched ur new bike video... Liked it! So subscribed and now watching ur every video. Love u loads from India❤️

Lamb Chop Rides don’t need a Power Commander as the RC8 can be Open Source tuned in the ECU

I have 1 of these bikes and i love the fact there is no rider aids, (HOOLIGAN MACHINE). Power all the way through the gears keeps the grin factor going every time i ride it. Ive owned Yamahas and Suzukis in the past, but to be quite honest compared to the RC8 they were boring.

Nice video! Cant wait to drive my rc8 that i bought 2 week ago. Cause Winter in Finland:)

At how many RPM does it idle? On my SP2 i increased idle RPM to about 1400-1500 which gives me a smoother transition when getting on the throttle out of tight hairpin bends! Maybe a Powercommander and remapping could solve dodgy fuelling but i'm guessing you will have to do many more miles until you can feel into what you really need to have that seamless flow, that makes agreat torquey engine effortlessly fun to thrash around! Around 1.5 k I guess, the fuelling is the same in any gear haha it's all or nothing. Fun to ride fast 👍

Bit of a necro thread but... Would you believe the RC8 is now on some insurers "classic" list due to being over 10 years old, and as such cheaper policies? Of course you need to stop crashing and not have a bike nicked to build up your no claims to get a reasonable deal.

This bike doesnt have power evrywhere, Its lacking severly on the topend compared to its rivals. What is insane about it is it's flickability, no other SBK can compare to the flikability of the RC8, its center of gravity is so low.

beast ride. 10 out of 10 for trying, with understandable conditions. Better video of the bike than last video. Any advice, get the rpms up a bit, or do a throttle rip for a sound check. Burn some rubber also. Overall awesome. #(ck) common knowledge

@@DUKEBLADE you are shittin me, why didi you stop it is now better than ever, boards are wider narrower shorter and faster than shit off a shovel, we put a hydro foil on them now less resistance in the water and well scares me to death, usually windsurf everywhere weymouth portand harbour,barry cold knap,Gower just about everywhere even Reservoirs cleaner water and wind.. styles are crazy Formula (which i do) Slalom,Freestyle,Wave and Wave Freestyle.. so much fun done this years, but put a Foil on it and it is Crazy! when your in Spain look for Windsurfing Centres you can Hire and buy.. hope this helps

It's not unreliable, it's got zero electronic aid...That's the scary part! If you don't know how to engine brake, you're screwed! It's a death wish on normal roads...but a beautiful one none the less! A master piece!

@@DUKEBLADE I had the RC8R, most adjustable bike I've ever owned. You can replace the throttle tube, which gives more throttle movement for same power which aids slower riding. I'd ignore the old foggies, I'm one myself. Gabbie was probably thinking either, he needs to go to the gym more, his arse is getting big, OR that bike would suit me better. It isn't what you've got, it is how you use it.
