    One thing I found extrange when I moved to Florida is that most beach areas are privite with limit access to the public. In PR beach areas are open to the public, no hotel own privite access to the beach.

    I was born in Puerto Rico we moved out in 1975. Isla Verde in those days hardly any buildings...wall to wall palm trees. My parents took us there every weekend. We lived in Rio Piedras which is part of San Juan now I think. Short drive to the beach. In those days you could see Isla Verde beach from the highway. Now is all built up, hotels etc. It is what it is. And the airport remember hearing the planes taking off and landing that part has not changed. But the beach area. is completely different. I wish I had photos of that era so you could compare. In any case...good video. WEPA!

    Lots of beautiful condos🏢 and hotels there in Isla Verde (strip). Perfect for tourist. It's near airport and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Should have shown some of the hotels there. They usually allow you to film lobby area and surroundings. Other areas are restricted of course.

    The young girls talked about "private beaches" further east from Isabela. Clarification: There are no private beaches in PR. They probably meant smaller, less expansive, less touristy beaches.

    They probably meant private beaches where there is nobody around . Plenty of those beaches hidden in pr

  • @MiCajaDelIdiota

    @MiCajaDelIdiota

    Жыл бұрын

    @@bestnotredame Why do you insist on using the word "private" to describe what evidently are secluded, less visible or less visited beaches? They are not. The word private if applied to beaches in Pto. Rico will confuse some potential visitors. It's not out of the realm of possibilities, that in some cases the misunderstanding could end up in conflict of some sort.

    @alanball2 On the beach there are guys selling... always, always, always don't take the first weed they offer - demand better weed. There are also guys that will come up to you in town - same thing. Make sure you know what to look for... because they will have it in a baggie and not want you to smell or look at it closely. There are a few Medical MJ places - and if you have an MJ card then you can buy primo weed there.

    It seems from looking online that the accomodations are stupid expensive. For a single male to move to P.R. to get a decent hotel room or guest house or apt. the lowest proces are way to high and then they add on taxes and other taxes and cleaning fees. I'll keep looking at latin America and SE Asia. Nice rooms in a guest house or hotel with a pool for 11.00 to 25.00 a night and no rip-off car rentals; just a low monthly rate to rent a Honda scooter.
