For the Toxic BC build, since they wont ever be used for defense anyways - couldn't you just hide them bottom right then fly in during their attack so you have a teleport still? After you see the ravens coming back, teleporting forward to his attacking units right over the tanks would be brutal.

The micro control to teleport the battlecruisers out just as the ravens shot their interference matrices was just perfect.

Loving this challenge so much. Battlecruisers were always my favourite unit back in the SC1 days, so so happy to see them getting used. :D

On the first episode I regretfully said I was a doubter of this challenge. On the second video, I made a silent bet with myself that if uThermal gets to 30-0 I would donate $100. On the third video, I'm starting to think I'll be losing $100 soon.

So good! The widow mines are a whole new mind f*** and just constantly delays the opponent’s progression while building their frustration. The BCs, while cool, is the siege breaker, and the absolute panic and mayhem they induce is gold. Keep it up Marc!!!

Uthermal you are such a great entertainer. It's hard to pinpont what you do, that others don't. But you really carry us through these episodes and make every second very entertaining. I'll miss proxy plan, but this challenge might even be funnier. We'll see :)

I could pinpoint it to his friendly, confident and explaining sentences. Macro management while constantly explaining what he does, why he does it, being friendly all the time, never salty and doing unusual strategies. It is unique, high skill and helpful.

I feel like any challenge with Widow Mines is just an instant hit xD Lovin the amount of content, but make sure not to burn yourself out dude :D

New challenge idea: 3 of each unit to GM. You may only have 3 of each unit Alive at one point. If 2 out of 3 marines die, you may make 2 new ones. Basically it'd be a wicked diverse army. 3 ghost 3 tanks 3 marauders 3 bcs etc. Incredibly limiting challenge

Sounds cool, but impossible to keep track of the exact count of every unit. This is something that an AI might be able to pull off.

You know you're screwed when 2 BC teleport into your under prepared base before the 6 minute mark.

Regarding your request for ridiculous challenges, how about Supply Block to GM. Rules: 1. Random race 2. Any unit 3. Can engage anything defensively 4. Offenses must "intend" to take out supply buildings/units Goal is to make them quit or to A-move them when your army is bigger (1.5 to 1)

UThermal is going to have every Terran he plays against joining the chorus of Zerg and toss players yelling for widow mine nerfs, lol.

This was a great episode, great games, the high diamond level players all played quite well, better than I expected, I know some were frustrated when they left with no ggs but they did put up a good fight

This is genuinely my favorite SC2 challenge I’ve ever seen. It got me to subscribe to the channel. I hope this party will last for a while.

I like this challenge, feels like a good refresher. I think it would be good to get some e-bay upgrades for the planetary

It's possible to play CC first into 3 CC (cut Reaper, start the 3rd CC as the Factory is building) into Reactored Hellions and Double Starport Battlecruisers with the BCs finishing around 6min. Shouldn't be difficult to adapt that into reactored widow mines instead. That will give you Double Starport BCs while getting a great macro setup as well.

Me thinks, you could allow yourself 1 raven with this build.

I equal parts hate and love this series, and my hate for widowmines runs deep.

Idea for a challenge: mass infestors, code name: “why are you hitting yourself?” )))

It may be hard to believe, but I have a 70-80% winrate against Zerg using this exact strategy. Most Z at my level have no idea how to deal with it, and lose all the corruptors to the mines repeatedly.

Thermy, you need to lean into the full preteen tryhard of your username and post a :) when you hit with your mine/BC timing attack.

Have you considered for TvT to play the same build order you did in game 1 but instead of teleporting both battlecruisers, to send just 1 and keep the second one at your base for a surprise defence if he tries to all in you??

I think uve taken the bc crown from gumiho, legit. For now:). Gm is obviously a different beast.
