This is a fan club for ONE OK ROCK and Japanese audiences - thank you everyone for watching and giving love to this wonderful band! Edit: I've also now learned the process for choosing the 1k 18 year olds to participate in the performance and I'm still impressed (a video audition, some practices with a choral director, and boom the real thing) and my statement stands (see the second video of We Are from the Japan Dome) Japanese crowds are the best.

These 1000 kids where handpicked by the band via audition tapes. They were broken up into groups with an instructor, given specific music to learn and practice prior to the performance. They were basically organized and trained as a choir. I'd say it turned out rather well.

@@powbobs I always wonder why Westerners claim they are the best crowd. Japanese fans and Western fans are friends who like the same band, right? You guys are like kids who claim that their momma loves them the most. most JP band says that each country reacts differently. They don't say which is better. It's always fun for any band to see different reactions. Bands usually say things that please their fans in the countries where they perform.

There is nobody like Takahiro Moriuchi (Taka), his range, his voice, his energy and the way he controls the crowds! I’m glad you love One Ok Rock, they are great musicians and most Japanese musicians play more than one instrument. One Ok Rock had a concert in Japan at Nagisen Park where they drew 110,000 people from all the world. They won an award from Spotify for having over one billion streams! They are the absolute best - no surgery, no outlandish costumes, no makeup, no phoniness just bad ass concerts!!!!❤

About the crowd thing. People were chosen by One Ok Rock themselves. They sent in random videos. Some were painting, some were dancing etc. Then they got lessons with vocal coach who taught them their harmonies and they ended up in special performance. So controlling the crowd was different than the usual crowd. However Taka has the ability to control even large, random crowds as they do during their concerts. People are making circles and stuff, and no one gets hurt. It's a skill on itself. However, if we go back to this performance, the job behind this gig was enormous. And my respect for One Ok Rock grew even more when I saw the behind the scenes video. About the crowd singing their hearts out... They are very passionate about the song itself since OOR are almost like spokesmen for young generation. Their messages resonate with everyone there. Back again to We Are. They also have the acoustic version from "Day to Night Acoustic Sessions". I would suggest hearing that too. They are versatile artists for sure.

I went to see One Ok Rock on the Luxury Disease NA tour and I'm not gonna lie, I was not having a good day. I drove 4 hours to Cleveland and admittedly was too excited to sleep properly beforehand, so I was running on maybe 2 hours of sleep and a monster. Then I stood in line for several hours. By the time the opening acts started I had been awake for over 12 hours. I was exhausted. They were good acts but by the time the second openers played their set I couldn't even move to jump around and no matter what I did I could not stop yawning (i felt so bad, they were good i was just. so tired). I was honestly scared I wouldn't even enjoy the show. Then the lights go down for the final time that night. The introduction starts playing, the band walks out, and it's like I was never tired in the first place. The crowd goes *ballistic*. They're singing along so loud it rocks the venue and I am too. Suddenly exhaustion is a foreign concept, something so far away from this moment, right now, even though I was about to die on my feet not 5 minutes earlier. It was the best concert I've ever been to. There is something out of this world about this band and I'm so happy to see more and more people like you find them too. Thank you so much for your reaction!!

From that point of view, the recommended song ①Clock Strikes→In this song, TAKA uses magic to bring people watching KZread to the stadium. ②TakeWhatYouWant→Ambitions Japan Dome Tour 2018→The audience kept silence for a long time, and devoted love for more than 2 minutes in the necessary scene, the sense of unity on the stage is wonderful.

Although both versions are epic, I still prefer the 18 Fes version slightly more. You might also appreciate that there’s a preview of 18 Fes and it shows how they selected the thousand 18 year olds and how they rehearsed.

Love your reaction so much!!! I just can't wait for the Tokyo Dome show on April 5th this year, can't believe I'm actually going to Japan again, it's gonna be amazing than 2018! Ambitions Japan Dome Tour 2018 was one of my personal favorite, I didn't like the wrist light when I received it entering Yafuoku Dome in Fukuoka but seeing all the wrist lights became galaxy just made me goosebumps for the entire show. That was the largest venue I've been to and I still can't believe I'm being able to go to Tokyo Dome this year when coronavirus is still around. It's 1247 days between the last time I saw them in Yokohama.

I love your reactions. By all means, more ONE OK ROCK reactions! We want to hear and see it! More pop music. More acoustic songs. More marvelous noisy rock. Your response and timing in the cool part of your song is donpical to my thoughts. Basically, we play rock, but we play it with strings in the background, or just acoustic instruments. The excellence of their playing technique becomes more apparent. I know the conversation has gone to talking about them, but I love your reactions too. I think reactions are all about timing and facial expressions. Comments are great, but I really like to see how you felt about the performance. The bit on the rasp is very well explained (I was an unclean vocalist for a long while, knowing how much air to put out, and the amount of pressure required is a similar concept as I used a Vocal Fry). I'd be incredibly surprised, no, shocked, maybe even a little in awe if you haven't heard of Ado before (in awe because if you haven't, you'll get to experience something everyone wishes they could again and again, discovering Ado). If you hadn't (I'm assuming you have at this point), I'd highly recommend checking out Usseewa and the Live Version.

Great Reaction 🥰 Thanks for sharing this with us 💕 I called music like this Motivation -Song's. Because it moves me. And takes me with them through this musical journey. But... This can only be the second best motivational Song. Because my absolute favourite motivational Song still is - and forever will be: Queensryche - Take Hold of The Flame (the LIVE Version from 1984 in Tokyo (also Japan, huh? ^^) The vocalist name is : Geoff Tate. And the Gods are with him at this time! This e5 Note! This truly is how an e5 should SUNG & SOUND! Without a doubt... I've never ever anything like this. So he's the greatest Vocalist of the past 500 year's, isn't he? Btw.. He's a Baritone. It this video here makes you feel to cry... Wich is absolutely ok. Because that's it, what real music can do. And what it always was made for - from beginning on. Than Queensryche will make you explode. In a million pieces. But at the very end, they will put of all this pieces together again. So you will completely new and refreshed. Here we go... m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/qp9slsaPoZmaZM4.html
