This song was written for 18fes. The backstory is that Japan lowered their voting age to 18 and there were people saying that 18 was too young of an age and they were still immature etc. So the band wrote this for the 18 year olds to keep their head up and to remind them that they and their opinions matter when most 'adults' still see them as kids. Would be nice if you could watch the whole process of it all since it was documented and I believe someone has subbed it as well. OOR as a band has always been about positivity and good messages so it's nice that you picked that up. Maybe you can react to Wasted Nights and Stand Out Fit In after this since their older stuff is very rock heavy and efra wouldn't be a fan of that. Another song I'd like to suggest is one Taka did as an encouraging song during the pandemic with a few other famous Japanese singers, Re: Project - Mou Ichido (Once Again). Hopefully you can find the live version for this, though it might be a bit hard and requires some digging.

More One Ok Rock. Next song please, I was King Orchestra version, Clock Strikes at Yokohama Stadium, and Heartache studio Jam session.

Here I am hyped again. I already watched this from Japanese music series

ONE OK ROCK really pulls out this powerful drive. Highly recommend hearing "The Beginning", "Clock Strikes", and "When I was King".

If you are not not into their heavier stuff, I guarantee that you will love their 'Fight the Night' and 'Clock Strikes' perf in XXXV Concert, 'Nobody's Home' and 'Cry Out' in Nagisaen and 'I Was King' orchestral ver. They feel like a spiritual experience. That's some of my fav live performance from them.

i don't even listen to rock yet i cried when watching that live. ONE OK ROCK is truly something else.

Yes! One Ok Rock is really great live. Plus, Japanese audience are great as well that's why most of the best live to watch are in Japan.

Always check their lyrics out. Either on video or your own. They add a whole new level to their songs and are very heartfelt relatable and real. Thx for these reactions and much love from germany.

Actually there are a lot of their amazing performance live videos! I can't even mention all of them. If you want the soft one, you should watch I was King (Orchestra ver.) or Clock Strikes. But, if you want the heavy one and full of energy, you can check Cry Out, Deeper Deeper or Mighty Long Fall. I guarantee you, their talent is no joke! They are the king on stage! 🔥

You should definitely check out „take what you want ambitions Japan dome tour 2018“ that’s what got me hooked to them. The atmosphere of that Version gave me freaking goosebumps. So damn good

The 18 fes version of We Are is special because 1000 students from all around Japan sang with One OK Rock. They did not have necessarily musical background but they did a great job. So emotional!

One OK ROCK had a tour in USA together with sleeping with sirens among other great bands during that time if I'm not mistaken.

I became a fan of them after this reaction .

I flew from Taiwan to Yafuoku Dome in Fukuoka, Japan on April 21st and 22nd 2018 for this exact same Ambitions Japan Dome Tour myself (I could have been to Tokyo Dome but I remember the plane tickets were too expensive so I choose the two shows in Fukuoka.) and I remember crying so hard during "We Are". Ambitions Japan Dome Tour was my personal favorite shows that I experienced myself, I remember EVERYTHING was PERFECT on that trip. The sky in Fukuoka was ALL CLEAR like literally absolutely blue without a single cloud, the pace there was not so busy like big cities Tokyo or Yokohama, the food was nice and people there are also friendly to me and my friends. I had lots of fun at the shows, the stage was MAGNIFICENT, the lights the sounds were all perfect, they all did their best on stage. I even made new friends there including Japanese fans! The two shows I went were the 98th and 99th, the FINAL two shows of the whole Ambitions Tour so they cried on stage since the looooooong world tour finally ended and it was PERFECT. I'm a ONE OK ROCK fan for 11 years and I can only say that this Ambitions Japan Dome Tour show......I would ALWAYS cherish it in my heart, it's one of my most GREATEST memories in my entire life. Not only this song, ONE OK ROCK gave me too much and they were ALWAYS there for me when I'm down. I just love them from the bottom of my heart. Thank You for the reaction videos! I strongly recommend you two going to their shows when the virus is completely gone! YOU TWO ARE GOING TO LOVE IT!!!
