    This guy is a great entertainer and an excellent crowd pleaser. He has the potential to become the next Charlie Parker if he so desires in practicality. If only the world can be like this little atmosphere he has created! All peoples are cooperatively and collaboratively participating to create joy and good will amongst men of humane hearts.

  • @7theoutdoorsman

    @7theoutdoorsman

    waugh fulls Either way is actually correct. Yanni is counting quarter notes, you are counting in eighth notes. It would also be correct to count it as 1e&a2e&a3e&a4e&a5e&a if I were counting in 16ths. However we normally count 4/4 and 5/4 meter in quarters and depending on tempo we can subdivide in our heads in 8ths and 16ths.

    What do I learn from this: - I don't like plastic saxophones. - Being loud does not inevitably imply being good (this guy should practice on Williamsburg Bridge, the outcomes have been great in history). - White people from the USA seem to be as untalented feeling and keeping a rhythm as my fellow Germans are (what the hell is the problem with padah-padah-pom-pam or 1-(2)-(3)-4-(5)?). Counting up to 5 in the wrong tempo does not help (he just escaped being killed, I suppose).

    I would consider Roland Alphonso or Tommy Mc cook as a more pleasing tone to the ear Ace. I've had another listen and it still sounds buzzy like a Kazoo and notes at the same time.

    May I make a slight correction from "awesome" saxophone player to "awful" saxophone player, admired by a bunch of know-nothings who of course reveal their crass stupidity by being so enthusiastic in their shallow applause.. The man is a prime poser and impostor who could probably make much the same kind of grinding racket by sticking his saxophone in another bodily hole, the one remotest from his mouth in a southerly direction! In fact maybe I'm wrong. He could perhaps make an even BETTER sound from that orifice without a saxophone! Of course, the serious problem in all this is the major league dick-head who uploaded it in the first place. He needs a saxophone inserted in the same orifice but with the bell end first..WITHOUT GREASE. LEAD ME TO HIM! I have a Contra Bass, already upside down, awaiting a rapid application without anaesthetic! That should bring a tear of recognition to his eyes! Sorry for the big words and long sentences.... Hope you can cope!

    StrawyMax560 Your skills of assessment are easily exceeded by your gobby and uncontrolled mouth. If you saw the content of my professional diary and teaching schedule, you'd immediately realise what an absolute bird-brain you have always been throughout your drab and meaningless existence. If you'd found the streaming site which the proprietors employed at last night's concert, it would have confirmed to you, your unprecedented stupidity. It got 900 visits in 3 hours. No.. I don't have a contra bass but I do have about 7 saxes and clarinets. However, your intelligence level is insufficient detect my sarcasm. I suspect that it may even have been inadequate for you to read this far. Didn't know it was possible for anybody to be such an idiot! How DO you cope with yourself? Quick correction. I can't be any kind of PEOPLE on my own..Knuckle brain.The word you might be searching in your limited vocabulary is 'person'. JERK.

    Erik Sand I am guessing I that you are questioning me. Was condemning the misuse of the word "awesome" and the idiotic audience reaction. He is a nothing special player although further watching since your comment I concede that I was a bit harsh. It had a circus feel to it with a raucous tone. Those new plastics saxes deserve better than that. As I gave up watching before the end, I missed his mastery of circular breathing. Mea Culpa. He can also run farther than I can. Mind you mine's a baritone, made not of brass but extremely heavy bronze..not a light plastic alto, like his Thank's for making me listen again.

    +MauriatOttolink As a fellow sax player I'm inclined to agree. While not awful, he's not a great player. He is a pretty good showman though.

    +CleverDjembe That doesn't mean it's a brass instrument. A saxophone is played by blowing into the spot between a wooden reed and a mouthpiece, which is why it is known as a "woodwind," and classified as such. Clarinets fit into the same category, and are constructed similarly.

    If you weren't blind, you would notice that his saxophone is custom made- by himself. Therefore making it worth a lot.
