I've seen some vids of this guy before and he's a great artist. The ability to transition from detailed, realistic work to more cartoony and humorous is amazing and doing it all without a draft is even more impressive. He's most definitely on another level.

What fascinates me more than Kim Jung Gi's art is how he barely uses rough sketches and his visual memory

I think a really cool channel for you to react to next would be the Knight of Art. He draws historically accurate pieces based on items from museums and medieval art pieces and they all look amazing.

Had anyone ever watch the kid who has photographic memory, he drew a whole city with a short ride on a helicopter. Kim jung gi is ascended to immortality with his art to me. I love his work and have some of his books

I think it’s incredible to see what’s possible 😅 but yeah it can also be a bit discouraging . You don’t have to be able to draw without sketches and reference to be a good artists though. So all is good 😊

I believe he does sketching and he's so used to and great at perspective that his spatial awareness is like second nature. I don't know why I would like to compare myself to him except if I was looking for a pretense to quit already

I'm a fan of Artgerm and Scott Campbell, but how does that artist made a straight line in such a large canvas? I can't even make one straight line in an A4 paper without ruler.

Move your wrist instead of just your arm and just practice making cleaner lines there isn't much technique into it mostly muscle memory
