Alena may have forgotten to hug Alexandra Trusova on the medal rostrum, but Maya Khromykh was able to restore peace among the Angels of Plushenko. Meanwhile, Alina Zagitova debuted a new choreographic masterpiece from Daniil Gleikhengauz and Roman Sadovsky unveiled his new free skate. On the other side of the world, Han Yan restored our faith in humanity with his beautiful skating, Boyang Jin landed gorgeous quadruple lutzes, Yuma Kagiyama displayed his talent and Wakaba Higuchi gave us all of the Midori Ito vibes at Japanese Sectionals.
