You should watch the video of Ronnie showing Jacoby the rough cut for the first time. It's really a beautiful thing to see how nervous Ronnie is that it won't live up to Papa's version, and Jacoby's reaction to him and the song!💙

Glad you found Ronnie. Dude is pretty much unmatched. I'm a 46 year old punk rocker who used to tour the southeast playing tons of shows and I recognize unbelievable talent when i see/hear it and this dude is God-tier for sure. You're going to love several more of his songs. Can't wait to watch bro. I'll submit a few suggestions- you mentioned "The Trilogy", it consists of 3 tracks, "Losing My Mind", "Losing My Life", and "DRUGS." The videos and songs are meant to be viewed/heard in order as they tell his personal story (Heroin, violence, jail, etc). It's definitely super good. He has an old song from like 2011 called "I'm Not a Vampire" and it's his old genre. Way different from what you've seen. Still very good tho. Ten years after he made a "Revamped" version. It's simply incredible, song and video. Same song, totally different version. Lots of reactors will do both in one video to discuss the contrast. Highly recommend! Then two individual tracks that are newer and consistent with his newer sound (rapping, smooth ass rock parts) "Popular Monster" is incredible and I believe his biggest song to date. Also "Voices in My Head." Sick song, sick video. Can't go wrong with any of those dude.

The lead singer of papa roach actually asked Ronnie to cover his song for the ten year anniversary. Their is also a video where the lead singer is presented the reimagined version before it was completely finished where Ronnie took the song to Jacoby

Ronnie was so nervous when he played the Song for Jacoby that his hands were shaking. He respected him and idolized him so much he was just hoping that he liked his version of it.

His mother was an addict and walked out of his life when he was still a child. He references it a lot throughout his music.

This song has always had such an impact with me since i was a kid (think i was ten or so when the original came out). When i saw FIR release a reimagined version i was really hesitant, as it was my second favorite Papa Roach song (between angels and insects being number one). After i heard this version i broke down, i always knew the subject matter of the song was deep and i could relate to the feelings... But Ronnie made them hit home so much harder. There's a video of Ronnie showing Jacoby (singer of Papa Roach) his early version of it (FIR toured with Papa Roach and Ronnie had asked Jacoby for permission to do a version of the song) and in the video Ronnie is visibly nervous showing Jacoby the song, demonstrating how important it was to him not only on a personal level, but a basic feeling of how his friend would react to it. Everything surrounding this reimagining is deeply human, which is beautiful in my humble opinion. I just discovered your reaction videos about thirty minutes ago and I'm running my way through your FIR videos (sorry, just a mega fan and i promise I'll get to your other ones, glimpsed a Saw movie review so bet I'll be there). All i want to say is I love your energy, your insight into lyrics and your overall breakdowns of the songs. You have earned a fan. I also saw a clip of one of your groups songs at the beginning of your reaction to Watch The World Burn and you definitely hooked me, im for sure going to check it out. 13:37 - Jensen Noen deserves allll his flowers, man. He did the MV for this as well as Watch The World Burn which you rightly recognized as the prequel to this video. After his rage exploded and burned the world... Ronnie was free to walk the ashes and honestly confront his grief. When you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up. And I like how you phrased it as "almost broke" you. The world nearly crumbled completely before the moment of peace and the cathartic rebuilding began.

I have always loved Pappa Roach, they're version got me hyped up. Ronnie's version, pulled the emotion out of me. I finally understand the sadness behind the lyrics. Definitely shed some tears listening to this version.

I think this is my new favorite reaction to this song! Ronnie is such an amazing artist- he can create such emotions with his voice. There are two videos where Ronnie is showing Jacoby from Papa Roach his version- he's so nervous. And another of Jacoby watching this video; really cool. I think the reason you've never heard of them before is because until the last 3 years FIR put out mostly fun but ultimately disposable little pop tunes (Bad Girls Club, etc) and it hasn't been until lately that Ronnie Radke decided to really show the world what kind of musical powerhouse he really is with songs like Voices In My Head, Popular Monster, Watch The World Burn, and his reimagined songs like I'm Not A Vampire Revamped, The Drug In Me Is You Reimagined, and more. He can sing, he can rap, and he can put those emotions out there in ways that are so beautiful they hurt like razor blades in your heart.

Welcome to the FiR rabbit hole fam ❤ you really need to check out some more of their work. Here’s a good list for you that is kinda different versions of FiR. -the drug in me is you original version and then the reimagined - I’m not a vampire original then the revamped version - their cover of gangster paradise (now a lot of people don’t like this one, but it’s really cool) - zombiefied - voices in my head (Ronnie did all the stunts for this one) - carry on (my absolute favorite) - brother (made for his brother that passed away) Please enjoy this amazing rabbit hole of Ronnie. I explained somewhere else that I really appreciate the difference between the original which emphasized how we felt as teenagers and the rage. This here is how we feel as adults and the desperation made real. It's an incredible visual and musical explanation into the changes we go through and how our interpretation can change.

I am so happy I subscribed, I have seen thousands of reaction videos to FIR, I’ve been watching for many years, they are my favorite band. Yours is one of the best reactions I’ve ever seen, congratulations, great job! I also recommend the vampire duo, but since you like strings and piano, I recommend you react to the Drug in me is You and the Drug in me is Reimagined first because the reimagined version has strings and a wonderful piano solo by Ronnie. Make sure you listen to both in the same reaction, the songs are about 10 years apart. The same with the vampire duo, they are also about 10 years apart. You need to react to Popular Monster, Zombified and Voices in my head. I would actually react to Popular Monster before anything else, it’s one of the biggest hits, they were number one on the rock charts for many weeks with that song. I also agree with the trilogy, of course, but I would save that for last. The loss of a mother line…. It frickin hits 😢 I lost my mum 1st September 2022. I’m still devastated and I’m still struggling this song hits hard for me the way Ronnie has done it ❤❤

I just love it when an artist breaks the boundaries, suddenly people that never see each other gather and enjoy the same kickass moments. Music does that, teach music to your kids, you'll give them more verbs.

I also lost my mother as a teenager. And that line you started speaking about also losing your mother is one of the most powerful lines in the song. "It all started when I lost my mother, no love for myself and no love for another, searching for lovers on a higher level, finding nothing but questions and devils."

What an amazing and beautiful reaction. The first time I saw the video was with my boyfriend. The first seconds we were like 'wait where is this going?'....and then it hit us hard. Very hard. We both cried like mad....this blew our mind. Ronnie is out of this world. No actually...he is so authentic in his way how to deal with every day issues and brings it into words and music so that we al recognize ourselves in it. He is a genius 👏🏽 🔥💖

I have a co-worker who is a Papa Roach fan but she was like a lot of people who would just head-bang to Last Resort. So when this version came out I told her she needed to listen to it. She came back the next day and told me she'd never really heard the lyrics until this. I think there are a lot of rock songs that have very serious lyrics but the music behind it didn't necessarily match so people didn't realize what was really being said.

Damn, facts!

When you deal with extreme depression the world loses its color. You become isolated, withdrawn. Cant understand why life goes on for others when yours is falling apart. But no one notices...Ronnie brings more mental health awareness than any so called "therapist ". We hear book learned BS from them. This, what Ronnie expresses...thats therapy. Healing...slow process of being put back together...resurrected. Still gray though. For whole world. Little splashes of fire on world at end. Maybe hope? Maybe destruction? Who knows? Spark of humanity flickering out? His vocals are mastery. His ability to conceptionalize deep turmoil...brilliant.

Came for the reimagined and stayed for pauze & rewind. Great reaction!

This version is incredible. Ronnie can play piano but on this song it was composed and performed by sean rooney. He also composed and played on 2 other songs of ronnies.

You're right. Many ppl didn't really notice the lyrics when it first came out. I was a teenager when it came out on the radio. I'm certain I didn't quite notice all of the lyrics until I'd heard it MANY times. Granted, there were plenty of words I misheard in the song bc you couldn't easily find lyrics like we do today. Ronnie has made it an entirely new song, almost. Ronnie showing it to Papa Roach is the sweetest thing ever. Ronnie is shaking bc he's so nervious.
