Hard to believe her daughter is the same age as my mother. She looks nowhere NEAR her age at all. Simply beautiful.

They both look really good... Not sure if Google is right , but says Mom is 78 so that would make daughter 60 cause she said she was 18 when she had her and was sent away to a place for unwed mothers or something like that...Whatever their age its 18 yrs or so apart.....Twins too❤.

Tamron Hall asked Ms. Lynne Moody why she thought people were attracted to her and Lisa's story. Well, I'm going to take a shot at answering it. The reason I believe individuals are attracted to their story is because when one thinks, through trials and tribulations, that time has ran out (the ship has sailed) and all hope is gone, But God!! (the miracle maker, the author and finisher of our faith) showed just who He or (She 😊) was so the world (8 million viewers) would know who gets the credit. God made what looked like the Impossible (Lynne stated she looked for her daughter but kept running into dead ends).....Possible. Just the fact that Lynne Moody was on That's My Momma....happened for a reason. The fact that Lisa was adopted happened for a reason. You never know what God could have protected Lisa or Lynne from. God moves and removes at the right time. I had several experiences when I looked left for answers and the solutions came from the right so I would know it was nobody, nobody but God.🤗 ---

The mom was as teen, sent to a home for unwed mothers at the insistence of her parents. She was subjected to her face being covered during delivery, she wasn't allowed to see her child. That dynamic happened all over the world. There is an entire generation of women traumatized as girls who had to waive their rights after being sent to these homes as teenagers. The Australian government formally apologized to women who experienced forced closed adoptions for the years of trauma. Don't be quick to judge unless you understood the culture the Mom was in at the time of birth.

This is good!! I found out a month after the death of my father in 2022 (just turned 50) that I had been adopted. My mom had dementia so I couldn’t find out why. I did Ancestry and 23 and me and was able to find my biological mother. Growing up I use to drive up and down the street where she lived. My birth father died in 2019. I have a sloth of brothers and sisters. My adopted mom died last year. This is probably the most difficult situation to navigate through except by Gods help.

It's Saturday 2/2/2024 5:30 pm, and I was just watching "That's my Mama" I'm looking at Lynne Moody, and always thought she was pretty, especially in the movie, "Some kind of Hero" with Richard Pryor. I google her, because I wasn't certain of her name, and I was curious about, how does she look today. Then I look her up on KZread, this the first video that appears on feed, and the Lady is still Beautiful ! 😍💞 ..and so is her daughter!

I know what she meant,, when she said a void is missing. I wish I knew how to contact my American siblings. A cousin contacted me through DNA. She told me that I had a sister and two brothers. She said that she didn’t know where they lived. She hadn’t been in contact with them in many, many years. He was an American soldier stationed in Canada. I never got to meet him. ❤He was from Baltimore Maryland.

It's is easy to blame women, isn't it? Society complains about single mothers, they complain about abortion, and now here you are, condemning a woman for having given her infant up for adoption. Over 50 years ago, young women were pressured to go the adoption route, before Roe v Wade.
