Many hummer h3 2006 to 2008 owners are reporting problems with the cold start rough idle when starting the engine causing decreased power in acceleration. The cause of this is a faulty seat valve or wear and tear over time. GM needs to recall the faulty seat valve. I’d skip out on trying to own a 2006-2008 hummer h3 model. Price to repair seat valve could run you up to 3,000 to 5,000 dollars.good luck of your warranty is expired.

Seat valve? Did you mean valve seat? Nah... Long before any valve issues...it's usually either a dirty MAF sensor or the oil from PCV vent tube mucking up the throttle body/tps sensor. Clean those and it usually takes care of the rough idle issue. The valve seat thing would be much less common.

@@Snailmailtrucker hey man, I've got a chance to buy a 2007 h3 manual transmission. no rust. I haven't checked it out yet, but lets say it needs a clutch and all the stuff you replaced with your clutch set like yours mine will have about 130k miles. How much is it worth if it doesn't need replacement and how much should I pay if it does need a clutch set?
I love it so much
Little baby Hummer.
Nice
Is this H3 still for sale ?

Possibly the shift light. Letting you know to shift at a certain rpm. Since it's a manual.
Very witty wordsman. 👍🏽
Is this for sale?

I have an H3 only had 67 500 on it and I already needs front seals for the axle differentials it’s leaking transmission fluid and the brakes need to be redone the skid plate rattles can’t say I really like it I like the interior up front and the hatch in the rear other than that it’s a piece of shit

Price to repair seat valve could run you up to 3,000 to 5,000 dollars.good luck of your warranty is expired.

seat valve??? kinda like muffler bearings??? or wiper blade grease??

Seat valve? Did you mean valve seat? Nah... Long before any valve issues...it's usually either a dirty MAF sensor or the oil from PCV vent tube mucking up the throttle body/tps sensor. Clean those and it usually takes care of the rough idle issue. The valve seat thing would be much less common.
I have one the same with only 54.000 miles the only one in the US 🇺🇸. Who wants to buy it ?

@@johngault7329 I agree, I wish I had bought the alpha. I considered doing a LS swap, but decided to buy a 2020 Durango instead.
I wish I’d bought one of these instead of my 07 Jeep Wrangler Sahara which is the WORST vehicle I’ve ever owned. Not to mention, the “cheap jeep” interior/ride makes you feel like a peasant. Just my experience owning a plethora of makes across the board. Might still get the long lost Hummer….after rolling the Jeep off a cliff on fire.
