This $44 E-bike Gadget Blew Me Away! Reviewing the Woowind LP1 Tire Inflator

Ғылым және технология

I picked up this battery-powered tire inflator on a whim and have been super impressed with it. Let me know if you have any questions about the Woowind LP1 or if there's anything you'd like to see me take a look at.

Thanks, man. Your demo is way better than the "manual." To highlight the level of my intellect, I used a bungee cord to tie down the pump in the pouch to my bike cargo rack. When I took it out of the pouch the next morning it was in the "on" position and the battery was almost dead. Fortunately, this all happened in my basement, but a lesson learned and a cautionary tale in the unlikely event that there are other people sharing my level of intellect.

Thank you. I purchased this on Amazon after learning there was such a thing as a battery operated tire inflator. The instructions in the little booklet did not quite tell me what to do. Due to age and disability, changing a flat and pumping up tires takes a lot out of me. Having this takes away the problem of pumping my tired. One problem solved, though I still may need help with changing a flat. I appreciate your brief video shot how to use this.

Pressure is force/area, therefore definitely kg/cm^2 not cubed.

I just go mine today after getting it for $35 on Amazon during a flash sale. I gotta say I can agree with all the points you made here. Its small, sturdy, and quick to setup and run. I noticed you didn't mention anything about the flashlight, it's decently powerful, similar to a phone flashlight. Also, you can turn it on by just holding the unit button for 3 seconds, not by holding both unit and mode buttons!

thank you sooooo much for telling me how to operate the flashlight. I just received my Woowind pump today and it feels sturdy and well built, but I could not figure out how to operate the flashlight. the instruction manual just says " press and hold the the flashlight button " and I could not find a flashlight button. thank you again...

It's a good inflator but keep in mind that it is generally made up of plastics, so I would not try to inflate a full car tire with it or use it until it becomes hot you will quickly notice it does not work as well if you do and will not reach the full pressure values of those type products..generally for bikes, small electric vehicles like EUC's or standing scooters, sports balls it's fine.

Thanks, curious if when you connect the pump to your bike tire, the current psi is displayed and the pump counts up from there. As of now, my pump will start at zero, when I know the tire has at least 60psi.

So, to set the target psi level, you just set it, and turn it on, and it starts to inflate 🤔?

I don't think the modes on the inflator should matter as long as the pressure is set correctly. You'll want to stay within the specs provided by your tire manufacturer. My tires support up to 60PSI, so I run them at 55 with the idea that they're less likely to blow out than right at 60.

I see you could not figure out how to turn on the LED light either.

I somehow didn't even realize there was a light! From fiddling around with it, holding down the mode and unit buttons at the same time worked for me, so I'd give that a try. Thanks for bringing it up!
