I got one for $40 shipped and I love it. Plays well. Some mame games that don't boot up can be fixed by changing emulators. Well worth the money. I use a Logitech F310 controller and it recognized it right away. One of the best controllers. I only wish it was a 256gig instead of a 64gig. I find mostly all systems run very well. Great purchase

I have it too. I also use the Logitech controller you are using. I would be interested in somehow copying the exact image over to a 128 gb card and adding more PS1 games to it....because past PS1 this thing really doesn't handle too well. Which is fine because it is a beast for everything PS1 and earlier. Love it. Cheap considering raspberry pis cost waayyy to much right now.

Cheers Wicked, I picked one up for £36 taxed and delivered as a Xmas present for a friend. Needs some tinkering, but for the money, not awful. :)

I've seen this revised before, and on eBay there are somewhat higher price ranges depending on the storage and SD card sizes. Excellent starter gift for someone who wants to run emulators, but are not tech wizards! Would love it if they made a playstation game listing that included Jade Cocoon on these Emu Elec consoles. Obscure titles need love too!

I wonder if you can copy/ clone SD card & use a better quality SanDisk yourself, or one with larger capacity, to be able to add games in collection or favorites that may not be included?

@@Luvcat1974 Sounds like a tech inquiry my two older brothers would know WAY better than me! My siblings and I were born into a timeline when home gaming consoles and pcs were just starting to appear in a big way. I'm more tech literate than our parents, but every model goes obsolete so damn fast I feel like I can't keep up with the tech smarts of my bros!

I got this a few days ago and it plays a decent amount of dreamcast games really well. N64 too.

No coleco unfortunately. Pretty much everything else. Highly recommend this machine. It is awesome.

Paco1984 what controller are you using for N64? I can't seem to get the packing controller to work for N64.

@@marcperreault8440 I using a ps3 controller. The c buttons are mapped to the right stick. So square and x are a and b that makes it really akward. Also make sure you have the analog on on the pack in controllers. Center button has to be lit up.

And you able to use an arcade button kit with usb encoder and plug it into this to use for controls?

I recently got one of these and have mostly had no major issues with it, one issue I did have is that most of the time controls have to be set up and changed for each game - if you are not sure what each button does in a game then it can be a problem. I got it because A - it was cheap but performs most of the systems quite well, B - because you can add and remove items (useful when roms may be missing or need to be added to get them to work better). Secondly, the number of systems is very good - including some game and watch games. Yes some of the systems will need a keyboard and mouse - perhaps - but it is worth paying this price as opposed to the more expensive price for something which might not work so well. The number of games/roms is also quite extensive too!

I messed up my controller on control settings the only button works is L1 & R1 n the joystick is there a way to reset back to default?

does this console have some kind of reset option when trying to add a different microsd card? does the image have to be pi3 or 4 or odroid? i have another pi3 image on a 32gb micro sd but then it just boots into android

Agree, me too...really like it...only thing I haven't done yet was try it with different controllers that hopefully would work better than the ones that came with it.

@Kristian Moore The motherboard and the chipset are exactly the same in these three models: Amlogic S905M and one GB of ram. The WG-reviewed version of Super Console X with fan also packs the same old stuff.

I got one but have found that many roms are missing in mame 😭 and the zx spectrum and Atari st don't work on the joypad, need to try them with a keyboard.. but overall an very happy with it

Been looking at this for a while now prices seem to be going up to the upward of $65

Hi, I have problem getting exit & back to emulec main menu on PSP which button do I need to press. Cause no problem on Mame, snes, just press start button twice it back to exit & back emulec menu.

My sd corrupted I'm almost got it fixed myself jus need emuelec version number and wich device tree .img file do I install to emuelec folder

Hey so I got this and I took out the sd card and put it back in. And how it boots to android tv and not EmuElec. How do I make it boot to EmuElec by default again?

got this an having trouble exiting a game back to either game list or console list, have to reboot, there must eb a way, mag says hotkey and Y but that doesn't work (have set hotkey)

@@WickedGamerCollector maybe expecting too much for it to kill a game and go to main console list without effectively resetting. Have reset hotkey but it's no really a kick to main menu its kick to as sub menu then back back and select..you get the idea lol

Does anybody know how to stretch the screen? I removed the bazels but now I have 2 black stripes right and left, and I see the image is compressed horizontally. I am using a Dell 1709FP. Thanks!!!

It's great you tested it with another USB controller. Some of these boxes don't let you use anything else. For example that X5 Game Box. For me it would be a deal breaker with any device regardless the cost.

Hey do you still have the game? Mine stopped working and I was wondering if someone could share the sd card image so I can download it🙏

Some assembly required. 12 volt seems kind of high for a product like this. I was expecting 5v maximum from this. Will a Series X or PS5 controller work for these kinds of boxes? I ask because we really don't have any of the older controllers readily available any longer. We also have Switch Pro controllers as well. I might have a few Xbox One controllers laying around and a few PS3 one's as well. For reference- Most of our 7th and 8th generation stuff is boxed away. If I could use original Sega Saturn, PSX, N64, Neo Geo AES, Neo Geo CDZ, Snes, Genesis 3/6 button, Master System, and or Nes controllers I'd be set...but that of course isn't the case (obviously). Man that would be amazing to have a Saturn *Japanese controller for a little box like this.

The only plus point would the the fancy logo on the console lol

I got one a month ago. They are decent for £35. I tailored it to what I want to play and removed some old games and its been good 👍

@@reppinNY not all the games work alot of the mame don't work. Dreamcast is hit or miss. Some work some don't. Ps1 was good. As I said mame has quite a few not working. Though the games that do work play well. Not noticed any overheating I normally play for a hour max though. Hope that helps

If it's the same chips ... yes. Only you sometimes need to change the boot up file.

I have this and I love it.....

I accidentally got out of the software and i now have no idea of how to return the console. It now shows me an android phone screen. Can you please help?

Considering this for my four year old son. Get him into gaming. He wants a arcade. So I think this will be good to build him a little arcade tabletop. Inexpensive and a good starter arcade box for him.

the standard 33,000 one comes with two and that is sonic adventure 2 and marvel vs capcom 2. both run well. the 55,000 one comes with 24 dreamcast games like power stone 1 & 2, DOA, crazy taxi 1 & 2, virtual fighter -does not work well, and marvel vs capcom 2. I really like the 55,000 better but I slapped it into a arcade1up for fun

If I wanted to put a fresh version of the latest emuelec on this, does anyone know which file I should use from the device tree folder? 🤔

not sure why but the d pad doesn't work unless you press the analog button

I'll stick with my raspberry pi 3 b+ and Batocera. If you can do it all yourself it's much more satisfying and you'll get much better compatibility

i didn't know batocera was on the pi, i'd probably stick to recalbox anyway. N64 might be a little hard to work on it, but it's easy to set up and it's had great performance on most systems
