@@petripaa You feather the SMG II and you feel how it works. The more you drive, the more you appreciate it. When I bought my M3 to track build it, I contemplated going manual, but now I would never do it. I track it and its so much fun!

This is the first e46 M3 that sounds really good to me! Not too raspy and tin can sound as they usually tend to be like. I really like the exhaust note of this one.

@@Fee.1 no dipshit. Last I checked the subframe is apart of the chassis. So your comparison between a seat belt and sound (exhaust note) doesn't make fuckin sense. And for a car that's supposed to be head of its class to have that glaring issue from factory is appalling

I've looking at many of your vids, this is probably the first owner that really knows his car and build it with taste, both visually and performance wise. Really respect how the car was build, looking for true handling and reliability... I bet that it would be MUCH faster than most of the 600 bhp cars that you test around the track :)

Easily the best 3 series they've ever made. Such a clean style.

My Grandad had the same M3 when i was younger and when he took me for a drive and put his foot down i always wanted one in the same colour and everything

Accurate review of popular mods and right there with you on overall perspectives on E46 M3...what a fun setup SMG is to drive, particularly at the track, in 50k miles and dozens of track days never had an issue, deserves more credit than it gets...mine is a 2005 Interlagos SMG with similar mods...highly recommend catless headers...don’t drive daily so whenever I do reminded how it’s such an amazing road carving tool.

Reg Greetham they were 6k a couple years ago. Now they’re 12k in fact even more. You won’t find an m3 less than that price. It’s gone up already.

Great car the e46 M3! I love it so much I have two, e46 m3 coupe and e46 m3 convertible, both SMG. I have to admit it, whenever I look at my m3s i don't think wow this cars look good but the truth is they've aged so well and whenever I see another e46 m3 on the road that's when I realise that they still look fantastic today! So much road presence!

Best sounding E46 I have ever heard. I usually hate the stock sounds of E46 m3. But this one sounds great.

Being 22 I'm a bit gutted I'm gonna miss the boat on the E46 because they're only gonna get more expensive from now, especially for a nice one. Obviously not in a position to buy, run and insure one and won't be for a good few years. Absolute perfect balance of power, handing and luxury (In standard form) and the E46 is by far my favourite looking BMW of all time. Will never be beaten for me!

Tim Tursonoff Alcon brakes come standard on GTR’s and they were used on the CSL cup race series.

I have owned 2 E46 m3's and still have one both are manual... but I've driven the smg's and I tell you it's not a bad thing at all. I think it's actually very good especially when tuned.

Loving the look of that m3 👍

I love the way the guy talks about his M3! He's got a very interesting POV on the SMG though. I currently have an SMG on mine and I am in the process of doing a 6-speed swap. The only reason I am doing this is because I've had such bad luck with the SMG transmission. Mine is beginning to struggle to build up enough pressure to change gears to the point where the car almost wants to stall out. Apart from that, I really enjoyed this video! Cool dude with a cool car! 11/10 will definitely get a CSL carbon airbox for my build haha.
