Using natural things are the best way of keeping your hair safe without chemicals.
I actually want to try this especially after seeing so many people with good results trying something similar. I’m just nervous about adding Mayo to my hair and the smell.
Very nice ...dry hair are difficult to manage
I have heard for many years now that Mayo is great for the hair but never seen anyone explain the recipe. Seems quite simple 🥰
Since the 80s I watched my mom make her mayo hair mask concoctions; which I still use today. Her recipe had been handed down for generations, since back in Puerto Rico. She'd buy a huge jar of mayo and let it sit out to ferment, and separate. She'd use the oil that had settled ontop, egg yolks and raw honey. She was told by her great grandmother, that egg White's were only beneficial if taken internally, because Egg white vitamins were to weak to penetrate through the hair follicles and shaft; so it was useless to use in hair mask. My mother always told me the honey must always be raw, and never processed. Any honey thats been processed is heated and filtered, so it loses most, if not all its natural healing elements.
I was sitting here counting cents to go buy hair treatment conditioner. The joke was on me as I have the products to make it in my fridge and cupborad. Thanks as I put my wallet away and start mixing 🙏❤️
