If the scratch is down to the plastic like was the case in this video, would it be better to apply the putty you guys sell? I only ask because I have a similar scratch, and I bought the Platinum Kit for my White Tesla Model Y. Would I be just fine jumping straight into priming, or would apply putty first be more effective? Thanks!

In this case the primer was enough. It took a few coats and a few times sanding and building it up, but once it was built up and sanded smooth, it was fine. This scratch on the X was too big for the putty to work well. If there was a deeper gouge or divot, I would have used the putty, sanded, then used the primer and sanded. Basically if there was a deep gouge or divot I would used the putty to get me to where I began with the primer on this scratch.
I'm certain that we do, but we'd need the year to look it up properly. The color code would be handy too if you have it available. You can look the car up here too: touchupdirect.com Thanks!

YES, finally! It's moving through the last stages of validation, you will see it on our website very soon after the new year, by the second week at the latest. Same with Stealth Gray, that too will be released early in the New Year.

The kit doesn’t mention a primer. Does it come with primer?

There are multiple Kits, some come with Primer, some do not. The Essential Kit does not, the Preferred and Platinum do.

Nah, much less. Paint goes a long way, this was likely just a couple ML's for coverage.

We don't recommend sanding the color coats.
So, i take it this was not the touch up kit from Tesla. The kit I received did not have a primer. Which kit did you use and what primer… 🤔
