this song was a wake-up call to me for sure, had me realize the importance of having a relationship with Jesus instead of treating it as a religion.

I love songs that get me to think or kinda convict me. I don't even mean in a religious way of convicting me of sin, just convicting me to do better and be better, get me to think and reflect. That is what this song did for me, which is why it moved me and affected me so much. Definitely one of my favorites so far.

Great reaction bro. I’m a Muslim and we pray 5 times a day. We take time off from work, school, whatever it might be for just 5 minutes to go and do our prayer to God, so this song resonates with me a lot. We make sure to keep our connection strong with God before death overtakes us because by then, it’s already too late for prayer. God bless ❤️

I shared my revelation in 21-Pilots' Morph. My mom has 7 children and raised us all in Buddhism. Going thru life each one of us had a life changing experience and excepted God into our hearts at different times. From what I know my bro and sis found God at the most excruciating part of their lives. My mom also found God when 2 of her kids passed. We have 1 sis & 1 bro who still haven't found their way yet. We are definitely guilty. He held us when we were broken but when life's fine and " I'll call you when I need you again." We're all guilty of that. I'm so consumed with the lyrics but I didn't overlook ur headphones teleported David Copperfield 🤣🤗

That third verse really hit me hard. Especially the lines "I'll call you when I need you again" and "Its hard to answer prayers when nobody is praying to you". So much of the song hit home for me. I've grown up in a Christian home but definitely struggle with it. Thanks for sharing :)

This is just a very REAL Song. The lyrics are speaking “TRUTH”...No one can deny them. This Artist is Dropping FACTS! All humanity is responsible for their choices they make...a real relationship with Almighty God is a choice for every human being. I just received a recommendation that I received today...I absolutely believe this is needed for everyone who’s living in our lifetime. Thanks for posting this and sharing your support and appreciation for this Amazing Song and this Incredible Artist. Stay Safe and Positive.

I was brought up in a Christian home as well. I first heard NF about 5 years ago. I heard All I Have and Mansion, ever since he's been my all time favorite rapper. I've never related to an artist's library more than NF. He's as real as it gets. You're gonna love going on the NF journey. He hones his technique and gets better and better each record. Paid My Dues is arguably his best song and it's his latest single. I'm subscribing to your channel, please keep reacting to NF. You won't regret it. Side note: Another song that hits heavy kinda like this one, ILL Mind of Hopsin 7 by Hopsin (obviously) lol.

So i know im more on your case abt Bo currently.. but Nate is my number one guy.. i was raised as a blank slate. Non believer. I divert from using atheist bc most assume that means im taking some stance, which im not. Im just a non believer bc my parents were 15/16 when i was born and i was always left to figure life out on my own. The concept of “magic”, “ faith in a higher being”, was simply never introduced to me, and thats how i waa raised.. whats funny and weird to me though, is anytime i feel a little down, i look for specifically “christian reactions” to this song.. or Trees by TØP... and i have no idea why. It doesnt manifest into altering my beliefs, but something about hearing not just these two songs and how they are each so diff tonally..it gives me a weird second hand high or happiness that someone like Nate, with his upbringing, can still have that much grit and passion in his faith. And thats admirable to me.. a fun easter egg.. around 8:00 mark when he raps “its a slap in the face, domt ever tell me theres no God, and if there isnt what are we here for?”.... and the part people always miss is how he does a one line right after where its not “him” talking.. bc it goes “then what ARE YA’LL DOING DOWN THERE” ... “i dont know, Lord”... you hear what im saying? Its like hes playing God or something for that one line “what are ya’ll doing DOWN there”.. so thats clearly not Nate speaking.. esp cause he answers “i dont know, lord”... interesting right? Id love to hear what you think hearing that small segment again bc its such a weird tiny easter egg.. #nfrealmusic

I’ve never heard (or listened to) NF. I chose to watch this one, as others’ have stated that there are a lot of TØP fans who also listens to NF. Wow. Just…wow. I’ll be listening to more of his music… **I’m not wanting to start a religious argument with anyone who reads this. I don’t believe in debating with the intention of having my mind changed or vice versa. I personally believe it’s truly up to a person to decide for themselves. I’m Catholic, officially, but I’m not a practicing Catholic…that is if “practicing” is defined only by whether we go to Mass every weekend. Why must we gather to be labeled a Christian? What makes a building God’s house? If I pray to Him every day, as I do, does my not going to Mass every week mean I’m not Christian? Some may answer, “Yes,” but then does it mean you’re being judged by Christians who aren’t supposed to judge…if you’re a true believer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nailed it - this should be a wake up call to each person listening to it, individually. I get where the comment comes from of the church being hypocritical, and it definitely is - telling a story of salvation, but then not everyone living that way. The reality is, even living in the bible belt, I can tell you with absolute certainty that a large percentage of church goers don't have a person relationship with Jesus - they go to church because they were raised going to church. I've heard it said (and can 100% agree) that helping save those in the bible belt is probably harder than helping to save those in less "bibled" regions, because there is a general thought that you inherit your salvation from your parents, etc. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people here in the bible belt, in a structured church setting, that have gone to church their whole life, come to the realization that they've been living a religious lie. All that to say, the church is MEANT for the sinner, so it is by definition hypocritical. :-)

  • @SuffiReax

I totally agree with you. Just like you said, people who grew up with church bred into them as a natural part of their routine may not even realize they have no relationship, just simply going through the motions because that was the habit they were raised with. I totally agree that trying to "help" or "save" someone from the bible belt or that grew up in the church is remarkably more difficult that someone who wasn't because they have heard it alllllll before and know the answers or what you are going to say next and the words have lost their meaning or impact due to the repetition of hearing it your whole life. It's a very dangerous place to be. Thank you for your comment :)

Third verse is written from A perspective of how God feels. Don’t turn on God because of the Church Bro. There are a lot of great Churches out there God is here for us no matter what. And for the record you will have to drop the Bop or Flop with NF because he don’t write a bad song. Great reaction.

Its not only for Christians. Its for everyone, whether they believe or not... because I've seen "Athiests" do the same thing. A cousin of mine says he doesn't believe, even though he grew up in church and in the same breath he says he doesn't want to have children, because he's afraid God will come back before he got to see them grow up. LOL If you don't believe, why you afraid someone you don't believe in will come back. It makes no sense at all. I've also seen people who don't attend church and don't believe, don't pray turn to you (a person who does) for prayer when they need it.

Im an atheist but still have a lot of respect for this song. Many people I've met are kind of hypocritical like that. In my opinion if you believe in something you should do so all the time not when it's convenient for you. Changing beliefs and stuff is okay but turning it on and off is simply unreasonable.
