This is the exact song that made me take a hard look at how much I was taking versus giving🙏 I never once thanked god for blessing us with our baby girl , and I never took the time away from day to day life to appreciate what was cultivating , we lost her in may last year at 7 months pregnant and I hated god , I blamed him for everything and then I heard this and as I was processing everything I realized I was falling short on him not him on me. I started to repair my relationship with him and we were blessed with a new baby girl shortly after losing Laylah ❤️ I wake up everyday and thank him for the gifts he’s provided and I’m by no means a go to church believer but the power of beliving in something is bigger than we can imagine sometimes

Beautiful story brotherman. So sorry to hear about your baby girl, I can't even imagine what that pain felt like. We all wrestle with our faith at times, especially in situations like that but there's a reason for everything that happens, even completely devasting things like that. We may not be able to see it or understand it at the time but it's all in his plans. And even though we may get angry with him because we're hurt and confused, he will always be there waiting for you to come back, all you gotta do is knock. Again, so sorry for your baby, may she rest in peace. But also a big CONGRATULATIONS on you and your girl's new blessing! Thanks for sharing your story, it helps others who also wrestle with their faith to hear someone like you go through such a loss and so much pain but find your way back to the light. Gives us hope! @@proudmoon3 oh my goodness, this album is an absolute masterpiece. I love the vulnerable approach to his lyrics, wow!! “Running” is so refreshing!!!

I know this song played on my local Christian radio station, which is how I found out about him. But it's cool that NF has such a huge fan base that if you are a "reaction" person, the sure way to get a lot of people to view your stuff is to react to NF. So many who would never listen to Christian music, have listen to and liked this song. I think they like it because as with everything NF he's just spitting facts. My favorite two songs to listen to back to back are Mansion and Intro III. In mansion he lets fear into his house and intro III is the follow up. In Mansion he has a song with Brit Nicole 'Can You Hold Me' its not my fav, but its not horrible.

You HAVE to listen to "I'll Keep On" by NF .... changed my perspective on God.

my first time finding NF was my freshman year back then all i was listening to was dub-step without lyrics since i hated what most music had become, where all they cared about was the money the girls and the cars. then one day while listening to my music his song came on i think it was Nate and i liked it but at the same time i didn't know what to make of it, so i did some background searches on this artist and shortly after doing so i found out my family almost all of them listen to him and so Ive just been following his music since it also ended up acting as my safety net in a way it definitely helped me.

No surprise that "Oh Lord" is showing up so soon on the channel, this is the most christian song from him after all. I like the first line about putting his body in the trashbag, its a clear statement from him and he picks up on that line later, but I dont remember where. It was along the line of his true fans will not show up to his funeral. It was a clever interaction with the audience. When it comes to recommendations, I would actually like to go back in time to 2014 to "Thing Called Love". It's in my opinion his best song from back then, musically but also in lyricwise. He says a lot of true things that resonated with me and might be good material to comment on. Otherwise, if you'd like to just generally get a better understanding what kind of person NF is "Nate", "Therapy Session" or "Why" might be interesting for you. Of course there are lots more. EDIT: Going back through the songs, I realize that "All I Have" is probably the best song to start with to get to know him. Glad you guys are doing this series, otherwise I wouldn't have found you guys. Your videos are helping me staying in touch with Jesus when im not around church, thank you for that.
