This video is a wake-up call for me
Leap-frog was my favourite game when I was a school boy. We came together at break time and played it. I remember the joy we had while playing 😂🎉
Usually i take my time to sitting in front of tables and i know it's not good for my health. But day by day i feel i'm going to be a lazy person. I think this is from my phone. But i'd like to stay healthy and keep fit. I try to avoid my phone and in the evening i run with my friend. Honestly i don't like doing housework anymore but i try to do it. 😊
In fact , this video is a real wake up call for me since I haven't to do any exercises from a long time , Moreover I have learned from this video so many expressions although it's only 9 minutes . And thank you for the reminder 😉
George had a wake-up call when he discovered the silent threat of eating only tuna and cucumber sandwiches. They are not nutritious enough. Also, tuna and cucumber sandwiches don't provide enough energy for George, so opponents can easily leapfrog him when he competes in the Paris Olympics!

Hi, there.😊 I've noticed that not only adults, but also children and teenagers are inactive in my country(Japan), where we can see an increasing polarization: some do exercise a lot, while others don't at all. I'd say excessive heat in summer might keep people from doing exercise because it's too hot to stay outside.😓 As always, thank you for your outstanding lesson.👏🙏 I can't wait for another one!🤗
Depression is another silent killer. Thank you so much for this new podcast that is quite a wake-up call fo us to be more active .😊🎉

I definitely do stay active. I go to the gym 3 days a week and I also have other activities that have to do with leisure, but they also imply moving, walking to places and so on. Great lesson. I'm surprised the so many interesting subjects you talk about. Many thanks BBC teachers!

What does "WHO figures reveal" mean? Could you explain, please?
@bbclearningenglish

'WHO figures' are the numbers and statistics from WHO (World Health Organisation), so 'WHO figures reveal...' is another way of saying 'According to a study done by WHO...'
