Winnipeg Strong!! Hoping you don't feel too sick this time around. Take care. From a Pegger Pal. 🐎
Thank so much for sharing your story. I had a rare childhood cancer stage 3 lots of chemotherapy and radiotherapy still have health problems from my treatments but I'm alive so I stay positive. Seeing your videos helps me feel not so alone witch I do most of the time. I don't get to meet young people that had or have cancer so young so you sharing your story helps. Stay strong and keep being positive like you are. Your a beautiful person inside and out. 😊♥️

It’s great to see your beautiful face!
I hope this new drug worked well for you. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. My husband has been battling bladder cancer for two and a half years, he is 37. He gets checked every three months and has had 4 reoccurrences since his first diagnosis. Unfortunately that is the nature of bladder cancer. I wholeheartedly wish you did not have to go through this illness. I do find comfort in watching your videos because you spirit is so inspiring. I sometimes wish that it was me that had cancer instead of him as it is hard to be the one watching your loved one go through this. Much love and support to you from Chicago!!

Your positivity is contagious and I find your attitude inspirational. Keep on treckin gal! I'm a busker in the city and an aspiring Music Therapist. When I play my music, I chose my songs based on how I think they are going to emotionally improve the day of those who happen to be listening. Do you use music to help you get through all this? If you do, what songs? Id love to learn them so that I can share my own versions of them with others going through hard times :)

Chelsnbaby I love listening to songs that are really upbeat and songs that you can dance to! I love dancing and miss it like crazy. I find that upbeat songs give me energy and overall put me in a good mood 😊

I've been binge watching you since I found your channel. You are amazing! Do you have an address we can send cards or stuff to? I would love to send you something 💖 I adore you. Keep fighting!!
You're giving me inspiration. I had my iv chest port put in a day ago. And I'm going to my 1st chemo cycle this Monday. Getting bleomycin, cisplatin and etoposide. I'm kind of nervous because my blood work numbers were a tad low 😵😷

@@MagsBujalski ever heard of cancer causing an increase in hiccups? I was curious since my stage 3 critical seminoma mass is in my back right near my right kidney. And I've been experiencing quite a bit more than usual
I hope your treatment is going well and you are doing alright. What hospital do you receive your chemo therapy at
You’re so lovely 🙂
Mags I have pics of me when I was littering eating at the same time I was getting chemotherapy. I had a blood bacteria after my 1st round of chemo.

I meant to say literally eating food when I was getting chemo.
I enjoy watching your journey! I am currently post 3rd chemo infusion...round three has been brutal...nausea pretty bad this time. I’m curious as to why you don’t have a power port for infusions? Im guessing it’s not ideal for everyone...just nice not to have an IV started every time. Just curious. Thanks again for sharing! Its so nice knowing were not alone during this unwanted journey ♥️

It was actually my personal choice not to have a port or a PICC line put in. I did not like the idea of either, and I am good with needles, so I asked my doctor if it would be okay for me to get an IV every time. She said it would be fine :)
@dnlvanbeek

I totally understand that. It does kind of weird me out at times lol
Looking good post chemo. Hope side effects weren't too bad. By the way did rituxin shot in abdomen hurt? I got in intravenously but hear now it's only given into stomach. Your e almost half way done
@MagsBujalski

kittyfarkas it’s a thick needle so it hurt more than a regular shot and since I don’t have too much fat tissue on my stomach, the area did swell up and become tender for a few hours. But I much prefer it over the IV, saves a lot of time!

@@MagsBujalski thanks for info.. does sound painful . Hope your next one is easier. It's a great drug so that's a big pro.
Can I ask why you don’t have a PIC line in ? I hope you are doing well and thanks for sharing your experiences.
@MagsBujalski

Holly Hocks I decided with my oncologist not to get a PIC line because my chemo is ever 3 weeks and with a PIC line I would need to go to the hospital once per week to get it cleaned by a nurse, which to me seemed like a hassle. Im really good with needles and since I only have 6 rounds of chemo, I’m fine with getting poked each time!

Ah that makes sense. I have awful veins which are very difficult to find. Thanks and have a good day !
Oh my all those pokes. Is there a reason they did not put in a meda port to do your injections? It has saved my veins as they can not use my right arm. I had breast cancer and they removed limp nodes. I’m now dealing with lung and kidney cancer.

It was my choice to get all of my chemo through an IV (and it was approved by my oncologist and the nurses). I just didn't like the sound of either PICC or port so I decided to get poked every time!
Can you please share tips and tricks to overcome of side effects. It will help my wife alot, thank you

Hi there! please watch this video I made on that exact topic: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fJyVyLKccqfaoJs.html
Can some one explain to me. I have Hodgkins lymphoma stage 2A. I have been thru 24 chemo therphy in 4 month. I had chemo therapy 7 Times in 15 days that were 12h long. How come that i have more chemo when i'm a stage 2 and she's a 4?
@MagsBujalski

Different chemos are used to treat different types + stages of cancer! The specific chemo that I had is one of the strongest and most aggressive ones. It is used specifically for advanced and aggressive tumours. You may have a different/less agressive chemo, which is why you have it more often.
A few videos back when you were shaving your head I noticed a being red scar on your chest and in this video it appears to have tegaderm or something over it. May I ask what that is?
@MagsBujalski
5 жыл бұрын
It is a scar from a biopsy that I had done on my chest a few months ago. A surgeon had to cut off a piece of my tumour in order to test it to see exactly what the tumour was :)

@@MagsBujalski ooh okay. I was asking because it looks like a scar you would get after getting a port and oddly in the same place. Lol I don't have cancer. But I do have several severe chronic illnesses and we don't think I'm gonna make it to my birthday in August.. I can't really do anything but lay in bed because I can't eat so I don't have the energy. . I know you aren't terminal.. but please don't let your cancer take things away from you like my illnesses have.. no matter what happens spend every day like it's your last. Have fun. Make memories. I would hate for someone to be in a similar situation to me and not be able to spend the rest of their time the way they want... That was rambly and probably made no sense.. I'm sorry. I hope you're doing well

I have to ask if you’re Canadian? You say washroom and Timmys instead of bathroom and Tim Hortons LOL I feel like those are very Canadian things to say, but I could be totally off. Keep on fighting the good fight you’re doing amazing.

Thank you Madison! I have been very independent from a very young age and no longer live with my parents; therefore, when I got sick, I decided that what I wanted was for it to just be Alex & I during my treatment. I still keep my parents informed about my treatment and progression!
