Thank you for these! This is really helping me figure out my future set-up. Right now I'm in the process of getting new hearing aids. I am wondering have you ever seen a earmold that has a well in it so a stethoscope ear bud can sit in it? I guess the vent would be pretty big, not sure? Thanks again! Keep doing what you are doing!

Hi CFGaming. I am glad you are finding value in these videos. I have not seen ear-molds with wells for stethoscopes, neat idea though! Please share if you find any info on these, I would like to check them out.

I have trialed this bluetooth stethoscope , and it paired easily to my headphones. However I couldn't get it to pair to my hearing aids.

I have a mixed moderate hearing loss and was curious if this can be used with a t-coil neck loop that's connected to my h/aids, have you done this before? And how was the experience?

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you. I have the think labs stethoscope and Bluetooth hearing aids. I have the Hagibis adapter as well that I can connect to my streamer, but the outside noise is so distracting. Do you have any ideas of how to fix this problem? I am also looking at new hearing aids that would have a streamer for my Bluetooth but have the cord plugged in to connect directly to the stethoscope. I have also been looking at the Eko as well and I was wondering if you had thoughts on one vs. the other. Thank you so much I graduate in April and am hoping to find a solution by then.

Hi Heidi, I want to first mention that I have a pair of hearing aids that has bluetooth and a second pair that only has T-Coil. I have not tried to connect the Hagibis adaptor to my streamer, only directly to the Thinklabs stethoscope. I found no problem connecting this way with my hearing aids that has bluetooth but I decided not to use it because I have to "pair" every use. I use my the ThinkLabs stethoscope with an audio cord plugged into my streamer that utilizes the T-Coil in my hearing aids. It doesn't have any delay which is why I like it the best for field work. In the clinic I use the Eko CORE to my hearing aids that has bluetooth, so I don't need the streamer for that...but you would need a phone to download the Eko app - I like this setup in the clinic because it is quieter than the field setting. I have uploaded a video on the Eko if you want to check that out on HHL channel. Thanks for your question. Let us know how it goes and what setup you find that works best for you. Trail and error...

@@healthyhearingloss9953 Thank you so much for getting back to me. I also wondered about the Eko, but worry that I need to activate my phone everytime? Is this true? I have watched your videos and love all of them. I hate that there is such limited information for those of us with hearing deficits. I have moderate and like you one ear is worse than the other. It is so hard and I cannot do the headphones. My audiologists have no idea of what I need and this is frustrating, because I told them in the beginning and I got a streamer that does not connect to my thinklabs. I do the taking out the hearing aids and the ringing to put in the buds to listen and then I put them back in with the whole ding ding ding.... I really am hoping to find a setup that works concurrently and not a whole process... Thank you so much.....Heidi

@@Bumbabum60 Heidi, Do you have T-coil or Bluetooth in your hearing aids? That is the most important question before buying additional assistive listening devices... My experience with the Eko has been pretty positive. Yes, you do need the phone to connect to the Eko app but once you turn on the Eko, I find that it pairs pretty quickly. Remember, if you already own a tradition stethoscope, you can just buy the Eko Attachment not the entire CORE stethoscope. I hear you in regards to the limited knowledge that audiologists have, my audiologist is learning through me, LOL.

@@healthyhearingloss9953 Thank you so much for this video! Sounds like having to connect the hearing aids every single time would be a pain with the Thinklabs. Do I understand correctly that with the Eko you don’t have to turn off and on your hearing aids everytime, you just need to connect it to an iPhone. If so I’ll probably go that route.

It looks like Thinkslab no longer sells the adapter. I can find it on Amazon, but there are several different ones listed for the brand mentioned. How do I know which one to choose?

Hi Lori, I saw that they stopped selling the Hagibis bluetooth adapter on their website. I have not tried any other adapters so unfortunately I can't answer your question about which one to choose. I think the safest bet is to reach out to ThinkLabs directly, they are very responsive. Good luck and share with us if you find one that works! :)
