Can you please post a link for that or a similar trailer. I’ve been having trouble find a boat trailer for a small inflatable. I’m in the process of getting a 10ft (3meter) inflatable.
@rpcomms15 жыл бұрын
May not be relevant for fishing boat,but i added a quick deploy rope ladder in a bag strapped to one side of rib tube portion,used clips to hold ladder bag in place face out to sea. A quick pull strap on bag pulls the Velcro cover on ladder bag to deploy ,itcan be grabbed in the water very easily I added a 6kg lead weight to keep ladders straight in water. opposite side of boat tube is attached a floating rope is slung over to the ladder side when your parked up in boat. To get back in boat Pull the ladder bag strap hanging over water side of tube on boat, strap cover will deploy ladder into water Grab the rope from opposite side (remember to deploy rope when static) you put your foot on ladder run and pull yourself back into boat using rope and very easy to do on own. Very handy should you accidentally fall into the sea or if doing snorkeling\shallow water scuba and no one to give you a hand back in,can be very exhaustive getting back into a boat even a small one when sea cold. As we were shallow scuba divers,we developed this system to get back into boat with kit on and works extremely well If two in water you can add extra weight on opposite side of ladder to stop tipping boat,with care can be done on own as longs as enough weight in boat. WE practice this system until second nature. something i feel is often overlooked should you fall into water. Another note carry a VHF radio and a small set of mini flares or LED flares You can register your marine radio free at Ofcom for free,you can use a marine radio in UK for emergency life of death without a license.and can monitor But much better to sit the radio coarse if out at sea and get fully licensed,some places in UK are useless using mobile phones Spot on with the wheels on back,can be expensive but well worth it when rolling small boat down jetty or beach launch. We found anything above 3,0 +metres needs two people to handle,more logistics and bigger engine,trailer etc becomes a real pain sometimes having a larger rib! Ive gone back now to a smaller,easier size inflatable rib,I like what you have done with managing storage exactly what Ive done with under seat storage bag\bow bag. Haven't tried a 15hp must make a big difference! As yet as we just use sheltered coves for snorkeling and mini scuba tanks for diving use. Loved the vid,glad your having fun with your boat. Bob the diver :)
