Thanks for this info. I am now beginning to understand why I have been seeing so many complaints about the visitor visa, airlines and the issue of transiting. I even saw on tiktok an immigration officer at jkia refusing a Ugandan national on a visitor visa to transit through Kenya. I think there must be some communication and collusion with various airlines. It is now no longer a coincidence.

I went through h3ll with Egypt Air when coming, eventhough I was coming here as a student. They told me I was coming too early. I was coming one month before school resumes bcos I wanted to put in place accomodation and setup other things before sch reumes. They asked me to go home and come after one month time. After saying all my goodbyes to my wife and kids and parents, they asked me to go back. Meanwhile others going to my school had even gone to Canada months ahead with another airline. They are on my blacklist....No one, I repeat, no one should use EgyptAir.

*Yass this is so true. When I was coming back from ghana back in July they returned a lot of people back from Egypt air that were to even Nigeria also. I seen that they held up all people with visas whether you were a student and so on. Egyptian air is not even a good airline in general from my first experience in June. They took off my lock from my luggage going and coming.*

Is true don't ever use Egyptian air line, I am in UAE the same thing the do to us from Dubai to Ghana, sometimes they ended fostering you not only those traveling to Canada, just avoid them, brothers and sisters

I agree that these airlines receive instructions from whoever to not let holders of visitors visas transit through their country,but if you know from the onset that you dont want them in your country then why issue them the visas in the first place?Egypt air is just taking the heat but there maybe more to their actions.Thanks Chorkor for the info..appreciate u!

Turkish Airlines is also a problem nowadays. you may find yourself purchasing a new ticket again entirely...they make it their duty to make things challenging. so that you ultimately buy a new ticket from them. and if you are coming to Canada for the first time and you cancel a flight on your way to Toronto or Montreal etc. the last airline you take to Canada will need to verify your Canadian visa with the Embassy again.

I arrived in Edmonton yesterday afternoon. My first time in Canada on a visitor visa. It's happening in most airports in Africa. I thought it was the brand of airline but no. It seems, like you rightfully mentioned, they have instructions but the airport. staff are taking advantage and asking for huge amounts of cash to allow passengers on board. Thank God my travel was smooth but not for many of those flying to Canada on a visitor visa.

Brussels Airline is a very good one. I used it in August, coming to the US, and my experience was just smooth. I had no problem in Brussels, and connecting another flight was easy.

Kenya too. A Ugandan on transit via kenya to Canada was refused, I will send you a video. He said they have instructions

Good evening sir please i need your assistance on this question , I did biometric since Oct 2022 for Canada and the agent refused to drop my login , which I knew nothing about my application till today . Vacation. Ensure you have your NOC from work that you’re on vacation and have someone in canada draft you invite for holiday but you’re liable for all expenses ensure to have him on call too. Or buy direct flight if possible

Canada has put all visitor visa on review, visas that where issued randomly from last year, so they ask them to interview, even airfrance don't allow people oars from nigeria currently, they ask them questions like how was your ballance when u applied and some questions about ur applications.. Curently ba is the best option..
