Vanakkam from the USA. I ran away from Tamil Nadu in 1965 and never looked back at the horrible Brahmin hatred. Anyhow, India's constitution is one of "Selective Secularism." Borrowing from George Orwell, post-independence India has practiced this: All religions are equal, but some religions are more equal than others." The blatantly anti-Hindu framers of the constitution protected the minority religions but left Hinduism wide open to government interference, intrusion and looting: just like the British did. Unless the Indian constitutiion is amended to correct this terrible injustice, and unless the Hindu religious and charitable institutions act is thrown into the Cooum river, Tamil Nadu and India will never change for the better. No amount of lecturing by Sri Sai Deepak or anyone will change things. India is obsessed with caste and community. Look at the Lingayats in Karnataka, they are profoundly anti-Hindu despite the fact that they worship Lord Shiva, despite hundreds of millions of Hindus doing the same. The constituion prohibited caste discrimination, but looks like reverse discrimination is what is now rampant: hatred of Brahmins is the general rule in Tamil Nadu. Vanakkam again. I'll end with a word of admiration to Smt Sivasri: you richly deserve the applause that PM ModiJi gave to your superb rendition of "Poojisalende."
