Let me tell you all about this great suburb of OKC called Yukon. Formerly just a farm town, it has become a great suburb full of residential neighborhoods. People move there for the small town feel, the good public schools, and easy commuting to OKC. The people of Yukon love a good festival, Christmas lights, and the 4th of July. While housing is move expensive in Yukon than OKC, it is still a very affordable place to live.

    Some Serious Price Gouging going on in Yukon April 2022. And it isn't all buyer demand, it's seller price gouging. Building materials are not in short supply either.

    They actually are in short supply. Builders are having to adjust and change their materials based on what they can get in stock from brick to appliances. They also are taking longer to build, because sometimes they are waiting on materials to arrive. Can't customize as much if they need to build quickly.

    Can anyone tell me how El Reno rates compared to the other surrounding towns like Piedmont, Mustang, Yukon...

  • @NatalieBratton

    El Reno is a smaller town. They have a large number of historic homes, but have had some new developments the last 20 years. Homes are a little less there.

    Why are some Yukon neighborhoods zoned for Piedmont Middle and Piedmont High?

  • @NatalieBratton

    @NatalieBratton

    2 жыл бұрын

    Our towns are so spread out, there is a lot of crossover between districts. You could have a OKC or Yukon address and be in Piedmont schools. You could also have a Yukon address and be in Mustang schools. You definitely have to look at the district maps if schools are important to you.
