    Moved to OKC a few months ago , from the East Coast!! Oklahoma is A true hidden Gem, I believe. The people here are very nice, the energy is really good! Last summer I experienced 111 Deg for the 1st time, besides the soles of my shoes melting. The weather is very strange to the point it’s funny. The horn went off and I thought we were being raided or something 😂I’m having a blast! Last time I heard a horn was at Sea! Great review, Veteran USN⚓️

    First let me say, thank you for your Service! 🇺🇸 Second, as I'm reading your comment, I literally busted out into the loudest laugh I've had in a really long time, when you were talking about the horn! 🤣 Just the visualization of the horn sounding and you jumping out of your skin.... I'm sorry, it's hilarious. I'm laughing with you not at you 😂 Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂🍁🥧

    I've lived in the OkC metro area for the majority of my life. But 10 years ago I moved to Tulsa. Absolutely the best thing I've done. Seems more modern and everything is closer together. Okc is the 10th largest city in land area in the nation.

    We lived in OKC for over 3 years and we loved it! We were in S FL prior to that and were so glad to be out of there. But, we just moved to NW FL because of work, and while it’s way better than South FL, we still prefer OKC! Love to get back there some day soon 😀 👍🏻

    Moved to OKC from Rochester, NY almost a year and a half ago! Best decision I ever made! Especially love that everyone in OKC I’ve encountered is very friendly. It took some getting used to, but I love it here. Plus, I haven’t needed any Vitamin D supplements because there’s plenty of sun even on a freezing cold day.

    You forgot to mention the river sport district and the adventure district of okc as pros but I would say that a con is most things cost quite a bit of money to do. I’ve lived in Oklahoma my whole life moved to okc in 2016.

    Good revue, I am from the OKC area. I moved to a DC twenty two years ago for work. Now that I am retirement age. OKC, Norman, Moore and Edmond is looking good to me. Where I live now $400K only buys a median town house or an older small house. Have you covered neighborhoods or good retirement areas?

  • @livinginoklahomacityofficial

    @livinginoklahomacityofficial

    It can definitely get a little humid during the hotter parts of the spring, especially when there are intermittent rain showers/thunder storms. Summers can be humid, unless we are experiencing drought... but nothing like you'll find humidity in Houston, or places along the gulf like Louisiana. Thanks for watching!
