my mom was a TA and i remember her in the 6 week holidays using her own pc and printer to make 60 copies of each letter and print them and laminate them and cut them into squares and go through school work and homework, it never seems to stop, and who doesn't realise that most teachers have to be at school at least an hour before the students and at least an hour after

MegaUnfunny my mom is a cafeteria lady and she Actually works those hours xD even less really. One of the reasons she keeps that job. And she had summer off until they recently started a summer feeding program for the kids. But I don't understand how people can think teachers work those hours. I mean, it's not like they are always grading papers and stuff while the kids are in class, they are lecturing and helping kids. Their homework is like 60 papers where kids have like seven or eight.

My mom is a teacher and people think they are rich but after all the taxes she got half of what she was originally supposed to get. She is constantly busy (she teaches in primary) she's always at the school, doing work for school till the middle of the night or ringing someone to do with school. Tell me now +AK Milli that it is so easy for primary school teachers. She has to work on holiday, on weekends and after school. Then there is people like you going around saying she does nothing.

Even after being out of work (disability) for 24 years, I still feel a surge of anticipation come August, and I still have teaching dreams. Teaching is the best gig EVER! Despite the low pay, intense workload, et cetera. I still miss it. Listening to these teachery truths makes me smile. All are familiar. Especially oh man encountering a student outside of school. There really was a pervasive belief I lived at school.

Lol Ikr, teaching isn't as easy as people think it is. So much work goes into it, for example each year the national curriculum would have changes so teachers would need to adjust lesson plans by coming up with new and interesting activities. On top of that they need to make sure the lesson plans would suit everyone of all abilities.

Samantha garcia it's really not my mom is a teacher and she has to teach her 25 students and each one is on a different level. Some can read and some can't. Some can do math and some don't even know how to add. So it isn't easy just remember that. Also parents are very clueless about their own children's education and when you tell them they can't read or do math they get mad. So just remember it isn't easy

If you are nice to a pupil it can make a huge difference. I am really thankful for each and every teacher who's been nice to me.

The kids are the best thing with being a teacher, hands down. I sometimes feel like they teach you more than you teach them about life and people. It really makes you understand all kinds of people and become more tolerant.

Just started working as a French teacher at a primary school, I never thought I'd be the teacher all the kids look at like "OMG you are 25!?!" Lol damn.

I’m a volunteer at brownies, so like it’s 7 to 10 year olds, and I told them I was 15 and they all went mental, they thought I was like 25 or something

the teacher with the curly long hair is so pretty!

I’m going through to be a teacher, and sometimes I have to take a step back and try to convince myself that it’ll all turn out alright because I’m nervous I’ll do bad in university. And honestly, it’s videos like these that help motivate me because I can’t wait to have my own class and prep the next generation and get them excited for school rather than being anxious, depressed or hate it. Thanks for the vid🌺

I think teachers are amusing. I’ve had some of the best conversations with teachers. Especially the funny ones like my US History teacher in 10th grade. Her sarcasm and jokes make my day.

I actully love seeing my teachers in public. I also go up to them and say Hi and have a little chat. (Im in Highschool) most of the time Im with friends or alone when I see my teachers and I notmally see them with their family or by themselves. Its always a joy. They normally crack a joke and lift there eyebrow saying "Getting up to trouble are we" im always like "No are you?" Its just so fun.

As a teacher, this just made me smile and reminded me how much I love what I am doing, thank you:)

N J They are, you are. (Grammar standards not the be all, oppressive even, and chance typos and all sorts of things HAPPEN. But teachers are gratified when praised with correct you're/your too.) Your heart's in the right place. So important. I bet your teachers helped. xx

I have so much respect for teachers, I don't think I'd ever be able to do their job. Watching this made me think back over my time in school and honestly I had some amazing teachers. They helped me get my GCSE's and battle through undiagnosed mental health problems and I certainly don't think I'd be where I am without them.

both my parents are teachers and they are so hard working and kind. they’re not making 6 figures but they are helping people and they love what they do, and that’s enough for them. appreciate teachers

My mother was a head teacher at the elementary school, and I have never heard her complaining once. Knowing how much I complain about my number crunching work, I think she's had a perfect career, and best of all, everyone in the school loved her. I'm so proud of having a mom that is so caring and good at teaching kids.

I have so much respect for teachers. There have been a few who terrified me or just weren't good teachers, but for the most part, teachers are great. My dad teaches sixth grade and I've always loved coming in to class. Teachers do so much work for so little respect and not enough pay, but they do some of the most important work in the world. I used to want to be a teacher, but I have a chronic illness which makes it difficult to even work part time, let alone all the things teachers have to do.

I was a teacher for 16 years - quitting was one of the best decisions I've ever made! Parents, students, administrators don't realize how much teaching can take out of you emotionally, physically and mentally. That lack of appreciation finally drove me to quit. So, much respect for teachers who stick with it for decades!

So here's a fun fact that I remembered randomly! When I left primary school everyone was really sad because we'd never be taught by our teacher again so a few kids made a plan: The first assignment we were ever given was to learn one farewell song by heart (this was before I swore of singing in front of others) and a few kids got the idea to take that song, modify it to match the teachers and sing it by heart on the last day of school. We spent 3 months on it and met up in the graveyard next to the school every Wednesday after school. When we got our report cards and were about to leave we all stopped and turned around to look at the teacher and started singing. My 73 year old teacher (who no one in school has ever seen cry) started sobbing from joy and gave us a hug. I never liked him, until that day
