I'm American, and I teach English to Arab kids in Islamic schools. Omg this had me on the floor. Sometimes I hear other teachers telling the kids wrong stuff and I'm just like ok don't want to embarrass her or make her lose her credibility but I can't just let them think cap is pronounced cabb. Lol.

Hello dear. I do understand you in this case. If you could, help them to pronounce things correctly in a friendly way. (which I do believe you do so) It's okay sometimes as their native language is different from English. Because, if we try saying something in their language, it may seem odd or even irritating for them. Thank you for helping people to learn English ☺️

Yes, some of the pronunciation is hard for us arab to say it! like (P) because arbic language does not have this type of letter, this is why you will hear some of us would say barking lot instead parking 😂😂

I'm an Arabic speaker and I'm learning English! For me English is not that hard, its grammar seems easy if we compare it with the Arabic's one, but it has some sounds like "v" and "p" Arabians can't do, so I have problems with that.

i'm Persian we use the same alphabets as Arabic, use so many Arabic words and verb roots but even still the grammar is beyond difficult for us! don't get discouraged though your improvement in any language won't be steady, if you study hard enough it would have sharp increases around A2-B1 levels!
