not sure if this is a missed detail, I remember when I was playing HoS, I tried selling the items that I looted from the mansion after finishing the quest Scenes From a Marriage, they were not worth it so when I tried to dismantle them I saw that the only item they convert into after dismantling is ashes, which I think is a nice detail

Ngl the Aryan fight in W2 was one of my biggest facepalms in gaming 💀 I wanted to spare the guy and thought that fighting him would result in him yielding. To say the least, as soon as the cutscene started I realised that I didn't make the best decision (yes I could've reloaded the save but it was my 1st playthrough so who cares).
Another interesting thing about Sasha/Cantarella's letter; in the lore, as the spy named Carthia van Canten, she was known to just up and leave without a trace when her espionage missions ended. Such was the case with her 'lovers' Vattier de Rideaux (Emhyr's secret service) and Prince Anseis (Queen Meve's son) -- leaving both of them heart broken. So, it's interesting she choose to leave a letter for Geralt. Make's you want to believe she really did like him...
Dandelion should have had a DLC where he is playable character. The DLC deals with his juggling of women. "Dandi-liar" would be something 🤣. Thank you, xLetalis.

I think making a video on all the women Dandelion hasn't slept with would be easier. Also Love the Zoltan song. It's a way better outro that selling Ciri off. Hope you and the family are doing well. BTW would it be too much to ask if you could create a Zoltan emoji of him reading the book
@Mrityugata
Жыл бұрын
Actually, of the five people on the list, it's pretty clear he hasn't slept with at least two -- Elihal and Rosa. Possibly Mirabella (who's disappointed with Dandelion's lack of interest in her) and Molly (who's surprised at the notion that her husband would have anything against the association) as well. It rather looks like he's meeting them just to gather information for the heist. Also, consider what he has to say about Sophronia and Polly during the Cabaret quest. In general, the idea behind Dandelion's portrayal in Witcher 3 appears to be that he's finally growing up. Or maybe just getting old.
I never knew there were so many variations! I had no idea you could even find Lady La Vallete during the masquerade.

Here we go again - evil xLetalis, selling out Ciri ... it never gets old. In German, the quest's name is: Mätressenliste - "list of concubines". You should decipher the graffiti in the "Alchemy" and "Nowhere" - they are spicy (and mirrored, probably to fool censors)

Calling Geralt as a swordsmanship instructor "Bergerac" is probably a reference to Cyrano de Bergerac, French author and swordsman of the 17th century.

Hey xletalis, I was wondering if you could make a Witcher 3 best build guide for a beginners/mid/end game stage build, showcasing the best skill point investments and best armour and weapons to choose for example after every 2 or 5 levels up until the end of the game, and a separate time stamp for a new game+ best build. This would help me and for sure so many others who may find it overwhelming to have the full experience of this fantastic rpg game and would prepare us for the next gen update which I’m waiting for to get a refurbished experience of the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Thank you so much I really hope you can make this a video idea as there are few KZreadrs who support the well aged game.

I've got few details which I am not sure you mentioned in your videos - "dialogue which you may have missed" with Ingrid Vegelbud, after first race in "Erazm Vegelbud races" or however this quest is called in english version - Vesemir dialogue at the morning right before lifting curse from Uma is a bit different depends on if we drank with Eskel and Lambert to the very end ( it means to wearing Yen clothes) or we went to sleep earlier (before playing gwent, and playing the "i never in my life" game) - first encounter with Hattori is different if we already heard of him from somenone. In some village in Velen (cant remember the name - sorry) you can ask the blacksmith about archmastery in blackmisthing and he will tell you about Hattori - then dialogue will be a bit different than if you visit Hattori without hearing anything about him - this one is quite complicated to explain in english but i'll try :D You remember the guy whos goods we have to destroy (or use Aksji) to help Sucrus to help Hattori? Later when we have to steal something from van Hoorn magazine he will be speaking with guarding dwarf. There will be a difference in what he is saying to him depends on if you destroyed his goods, or used Aksji on him. WARNING - to hear that you can't enter the conversation, just stay in safe distance and listen hopefully you learned something new, if anything is not understandable - i will try to explain it better have a nice weekend :]

Is it really called "Broken flowers"? In Polish it's called "List (or census) of adulteresses".
@Mrityugata

It's a reference to Jarmush' film by that name, similarly to how "Spis cudzołożnic" is referencing Stuhr's film (or perhaps Pilch's novel).
@meanpersona4686
Жыл бұрын
@@MrityugataYes, but still the difference between the original and the translation is huge
@Mrityugata
Жыл бұрын
@@meanpersona4686 I wouldn't say that. An English player is not very likely to be familiar with Polish novel/film, and since Broken Flowers (the film) has a similar premise, I think it's actually more appropriate then a literal translation. But also, if you'll excuse a tangent, I wouldn't be so sure that Polish version has to be the original one. There are some signs pointing to English version being the primary focus for Witcher 3 (unlike the first two games). Like how in the pre-rendered dialogue scene between Ciri and Avallac'h (the one before the final battle) lip movement is synchronized with the English lines, or how some of the non-verbal voice acting (grunts, moans, laughter) come from English actors even when playing the Polish version (Geralt and Ciri laughing together while sailing to Skellige is something that always stood out for me). And there are some lines in the Polish version that sound to me like an inelegant translation form English. Example: when Geralt is surprised that Keira is afraid of rats he says "Mogłaś je anihilować jednym zaklęciem.", which is a direct equivalent of English "Could've annihilated them with one spell", except it sounds off, because the verb "anihilować" is not used in Polish (would've expected "unicestwić" instead). Of course there's a lot of situations where Polish dialogue is completely different, which actually provides another interesting observation -- when I played the game with Czech subtitles the Czech version seemed to match with English, rather the Polish version. So my hypothesis is that perhaps English and Polish versions are both mostly original, but that other languages have been translated from English. Mostly just a guess as I haven't tried any other languages yet.
I noticed the first one when I start my 5th playthrough after finishing Witcher 2. I was shocked af
completely unrelated but that outro never gets old, like ever- ever should make it a spotify song lol

@@gaxxaroth7539 It's not like it's a secret. It was very public back then. Tons of people left the studio, talked about how bad the management was, how unorganized everything was and how they expected the game to be a complete disaster even 2 weeks before release still. Most of the team suffered from massive burnout, the crunch was brutal and destroyed several marriages. And it's not like Witcher 3 wasn't also a buggy mess when it came out. Half the skilltree doesn't work properly or at all to this day. The looting is incredibly unbalances and doesn't combine well as a mechanic with the crafting, the Witcher gear makes most looted and gifted equipment pointless etc etc etc. Witcher 3 worked because everything somehow made it work well enough last minute by putting in months of unpaid overtime and destorying their social life to at least make the result worth it, only to then quit and never look back. Which is pretty much the same that happened after Witcher 1 and Witcher 2, both of which were also a massive mess. Just because those games were still fun to play after a few patches, doesn't mean the management and production wasn't complete chaos. CD Project so far has a track record of really bad production, overworking and underpaying their developers, managament that doesn't know what they're doing and constantly interfering with the tech side, and the studio losing half their staff everytime a project is released. After Witcher 3 tons of former and current employees spoke out about the horrible business practices and work conditions. It went through the press and CDPR promised no more crunch and improvements. They didn't do any of that and Cyberpunk was the result. Cyberpunk wasn't a freak accident or a surprise to anybody who paid attention to what was going on at CDPR. It was just the logical consequence of never fixing their problems. A messy amanagement and success based on crunch and burning through developers is only scalable to a point. WIth Witcher 3 they barely made it work, with Cyberpunk they pushed it too far. But they did nothing different from what they had always done. Their practices have always been bad. We can only hope that they have finally learned their lesson. The move to Epic's Unreal engine is a good sign. Because that means they understand that developing an engine while at the same time using that engine to build a game is a horrible idea and a waste of resources. and it forces the entire team to constantly re-do things. That was the main reason Cyberpunk was a massive failure and Witcher 3 barely made it. Now that epic is in charge of the engine and CDPR can focus exclusively on the game, things might improve, IF the management has also learned to stay out of everybody's way and not constantly shift the goal posts.
I am convinced that xLetalis uses some kind of sorcery to find so many details.
This is great news that you proved that children from the Crookback Bog are saved if you help the tree spirit! You told about that before, but not as decisively. Also it's funny how Rosa and Vespula's "salvations" end up differently. I'm sure that Rosa, as an aristocratic woman, may just save her revenge for later :) I think that to disassemble the game during 7 years and see all direct connections for every line could be still quicker :)

You sir are a great gamer and guide. It's a shame all you've done can't be published like an old Brady Ganes walkthrough, because I'm never going to be able to remember all of this. The Witcher 3 is in this respect--and others--the greatest video game ever created and contains so much more than an entire series of other games, as you continue to prove. Please continue, and I'm going to go through all of your videos again before I restart the game, but I have one question: I never knew of any of these choices or possible results, but what if I never played the second game? Can I still change dialogs and get different results? I'm so lost here.
Just a friendly reminder, the game came out 7 years ago.
Didn't know you can meet La Vallete aside from when she is with Morvran. That you can have that chat with the orphans is new to me as well. I knew they can be found in Novigrad from a previous video you made but not that they tigh in with the search for out boy Dandelion. That dialouge with them is pretty funny
