Spain looks like a relaxed country. This company in Barcelona is trying to invite me to move there, but i'm still not sure. Can't really go wrong with an adventure I guess. Are spanish people open-minded and friendly to foreigners or racist, like say some parts of Germany or maybe Ukraine. That's probably my #1 concern.

It depends where you want to live and if you want the flat for you alone or you're sharing. If you share 1700 is a pretty good salary, if you're not sharing 1700 it'd depend on the place. Barcelona or Madrid it wouldn't be enough unless you lived outside the city limits. If you lived in a small town or even more in a village, then 1700 would be more than enough.

En España se habla español. Hay que intentar hablar un poco de español si se viene a jubilar a España, o de vacaciones cada año. Y si se viene a trabajar , hay que estudiar español. Igual que en Francia. En Francia se habla francés.
