What a lovely surprise to get the notification for your new video! I'm so glad to hear you'll be doing more. I wish more vintage costume jewelry experts were active on youtube. I also have a Ruby Lane shop, but there's always more to be learned. And of course it's always just a joy to see new pieces. The Schiaparelli bracelet is breathtaking!

I'm a Schiaparelli addict! Thanks for your kind words. I lost my husband in 2018 and sold my house, bought another, moved, dealt with estate all through 2019. I love doing these videos and hope it helps new collectors. Many more to come.

Hi! I have a question. I have a necklace and earrings speidel set of large aurora borealis stones. I cannot find anything to research this piece. Except that they discontinued costume jewelry before 1950. Would you have any advice for me?
@CHVintageJewels
9 ай бұрын
The first mass-produced aurora borealis-coated costume jewelry was made available to the public in 1955. It could not have been discontinued by 1950. Many manufacturers used this rhinestone so it is difficult to get anymore details.
