THINGS TO DO IN SEATTLE: Pike Place Market, Gum Wall, Starbucks, Amazon GO, Space Needle, Kerry Park
We traveled up the Pacific Coast in our 2013 Ford Transit Connect micro camper van! The last stop on our Pacific North West road trip is Seattle. We started our day at Pike Place Market where we saw people throwing fish and explored the endless rows of vendor stalls. Before visiting the gum wall and the original Starbucks, we grabbed a bite to eat at El Borracho. Then we drove to the Amazon Go store where we got to experience very advanced shopping technology! We followed up our shopping extravaganza with a visit to Kerry Park where we saw a fantastic view of downtown Seattle and the Space Needle, a must do when visiting Seattle! To end the day, we stopped by Lumen Field to see where the Seahawks play, a lifelong dream of Mike's!

You are right! It does :) Thank you so much for watching, we really appreciate it!
So that's how Pike roast got it's name. We always learn so much from your videos. Thank you for providing these videos, we really enjoy them and can live vicariously through you for now.

Yesss!! We LOVE Seattle. We haven't been since fall of 2020, so it's nice to see everything open and busy! This video definitely makes us want to go back!

20 years?! That is too cool! We are also happy that it was a beautiful day :) Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it!
Hi Mike and Heather, another fun video. I agree with the Seattle Seahawks fan… I became a fan in 1976 because Jim Zorn was the QB and I love the uniforms, the colors and the QB was cute. That was long before I married into a Buffalo Bills fandom. 👍

Mike went euww out loud haha Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it!
So happy you had good weather, the PNW can be dreadful. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I did go to the first Hooters in FL. It was a "hole in the wall" and a dump unfortunately. btw ID is not the center of the country, lol. Wishing you good weather and safe travels!
it would be really helpful if you gave us the date of filming.

Thank you for the suggestion, we will try to include those in the descriptions of the videos going forward. This video was filmed in July of this year :)
We did the Ferris wheel instead of the Space Needle since since it was a lot less expensive.

Another cool thing we did in Seattle was a visit to the REI flagship store.

Both of those are great suggestions! We will have to keep that in mind the next time we visit Seattle! Thank you for letting us know and for watching, we really appreciate it :)
So nice to be returning to watch your videos. I'll bet your both really sorry to have missed the huge snowstorm we had here. Six feet of snow, and the Bills had to play in Detroit. I am curious, how do you build in getting a break from each other when you need some space or alone time? You must have a really strong marriage to be able to live in such a tiny apace. I would love to see you both do a video on how you manage sometimes needing a break from each other

We actually came home for the holidays the day before the big snow storm! It was quite the experience trying to dig our van out of 6+ feet of snow haha Thankfully it is mostly melted now! Thank you for the question! We try our best to answer that in our next video :) Thank you also for your continued support, it really does mean a lot to us!
Still in town? Walk on the ferry to Bremerton. At $9.45 per person round trip, it’s the cheapest boat excursion on Puget Sound with spectacular scenery to boot! Space Needle tickets are $35 per person and less for seniors and children. Still not cheap but definitely worth the views. As an alternative, go to the top of the 73 story Columbia Tower for $25.

Thank you for the information, we will have to keep both of those in mind for next time! Unfortunately we are not still in the area, we actually filmed this back in July so we are a bit behind haha Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it!
Seattle looks a fun place to visit. The gum wall sounds gross but actually looked kind of arty/cool . Looking forward to seeing the central states as you tick them off your list.
