In the next episode of the Deep South Road Trip I head to Memphis TN and Elvis Presley's Graceland. My Memphis Travel Vlog covers a Memphis city guide and a 2-day 48 hour itinerary that you can follow for your trip to Memphis Tennessee.
I visit Beale street and the best things to do in Memphis at night, take a look at the Peabody Hotel, visit Elvis's home Graceland, see the Lisa Marie Presley plane and resting place, and look at the food in Memphis and the best restaurants in Memphis Tennessee, and Stax museum of American soul music.

Hi great video. Were going out there in September mainly for Graceland but will visit other places particularly Sun and Beale street. Did you feel safe on Beale, iv been seeing some comments that are a bit scary, just wondering how you found it. Thinking of doing the river boat trip as well it looks really pretty down there. X

Memphis is perfectly safe, treat it as you would any big city. We have been twice and never had an issue

I’m heading there in September too and originally shared your concerns, however I think whichever major city you go to there will always be good and bad areas.

True but it’s the most dangerous US city, going August

@@pattythrower5700 it might be. But it won’t be in the areas you are visiting. Heck our rental Harley Nav took us through the hood twice. We both survived.

I live close to Memphis. It is a rough town, but Beale Street has a large police presence and the tourist areas rarely have problems.
