Just got back with the family. We fell in love with the city, the people, and the surrounding areas. Stayed in a Airbnb in the old town, rented a car and took day trips.

Thanks! This is my first trip to Europe and had a blank slate. I put all 10 of theses suggestions in my phone maps. I started at 9am with Mass at the Cathedral and ended at 6pm. I would have spent more time at the market if it was fully open, but it was Sunday. Next time I will spend more time at a few of the sites but I wanted to get all 10 done in one day. Thank you for making this a terrific first trip.

History, architecture, sightseeing... if you add recreation or better yet sports (mainly on hills and rivers nearby), you can have a VERY good time! And 10 days wouldn't be enough I assure you.

I visited Slovenia and spent time in Ljubljana, staying in the Old Town, and it is truly one of the most beautiful places I have been. I truly recommend the Castle, Lake Bled, the Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle as well as a trip to Piran if time permits. The people and the food are also amazing.

I live in Ljubljana. Defenitely suggest for you all to visit places outside of main city part, like BTC city (biggest shopping place in ljubljana and slovenia)

You can go through the entire list, except for the Tivoli Park and the Food Market. December is great as Ljubljana is very nicely lit with xmas lights. Have a great time 🤗
