That's an EXCELLENT word to describe Ljubjana!! It's such a delightful city & we catch ourselves talking about that place very often. We often think back to when we first arrived on a Flixbus from Zagreb & couldn't believe how cozy everything felt. It's such a beautiful place & somewhere that we always encourage people to add to their bucketlists. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!:)
Be careful, Slovenia gets under your skin and you have to keep coming back. I’ve been twice and can’t wait to go back again! Last time I did a “mystery tour” and ended up going to a mercury mine, which was unexpected and pretty awesome!

We LOVED Slovenia!! Ljubljana was one of the cities we went to this year where honestly we didn't have much expectation, only to be absolutely blown away. It's crazy how much beauty is packed into such a tight space, ESPECIALLY within the Old Town. We can't wait to get back there at some point too!!!!
I go there for work every couple of years. It's beautiful and feels so safe.

That's EXACTLY what we thought as well. We walked around at all times of the night just enjoying the scenery & beauty of the old town & couple times we talked about just how safe we felt. Ljubljana's 100% one of the hidden gems in Europe. Thank you so much for watching our vlog Tom!!!
Kudos for trying the horse! I definitely agree that trying new foods is a major part of the fun of travel. Fantastic vlog, thanks for bringing us along!

Man Ljubljana is fantastic!!! We always tell a lot of people back home that while the big cities like Paris, Barcelona, London, & Rome are certainly cool to visit, it's cities like Ljubljana that are the ones that make you fall in love with Europe. It just feels so authentic to itself, if that makes sense lol. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!

Great video guys! Love the enthusiasm. Just a small correction. "Kranjska kobasica" is the Croatian translation of "Kranjska klobasa" which ist he correct Slovene word. I know I'm being nitpicky but we are very proud of our national (and protected by geographic indication) food.

Thank you so much for clarifying!!! That's one thing that we absolutely hate messing up because as you said, there's such a proud heritage in the countries that we visit. Hopefully this video still encourages people from around the world to visit Ljubljana & Slovenia as a whole because my goodness is it an awesome country (we also just recently visited Maribor & LOVED it too!)! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!
Great vlog. Next time when you are around, use names LUBLANA (Loo-blah-nah) and LUBLANICA river (Loo-blah-nee-tza river), but you absoultely nailed Prešeren square. 💪 See ya.

What time were you there in Slovenia? We will be there the first week in October so trying to figure out the weather. We are going to Ljubljana and Lake Bled. Were all did you go in Croatia? We are starting in Dubrovnik.
@ProbablyLost
Жыл бұрын
Hi Mary!! We were in Ljubljana from Sept 18-23rd, but the weather should more or less be the same. My guess would be that it's pretty much typical fall weather of warm days & cold nights (during the day it would be around 80 F & at night it would drop into the 30s). As far as Croatia, we've only gotten to visit Dubrovnik & Zagreb, but we LOVED both cities. Zagreb is kind of a home away from home for us, & Dubrovnik's such a beautiful city right on the coastline. You're going to have THE BEST time on your trip. Feel free to ask any questions at any point, and thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!😊
tbh never thought about it...but horse is a bit weird to eat.... i have haven't eaten at hot horse before but i have eaten horse a phew times also if i remember the kranjska klobasa (carniolan sausage) is from Naklo and specifically i think its from Marinšek inn
@ProbablyLost
Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the details!! It definitely was weird in the fact that I (Trey) thought for sure I'd like it & Hannah thought she'd hate it, but it turned out to be exactly the opposite LOL. It's very different from anything we've had & while we don't particularly love it, it's definitely something we recommend everyone trying at some point! Ljubljana's such a cool place. Thank you so much for watching!!
I have been two times in Lubiana. Nice city, very clean, I feel well walking in Ljubliana. And I love Slovenia, I visit it as much as I can, it has an amazing nature, it's clean and people are nice. But to be honest, with cities such as Rome, Vienna, Paris, London... how can you ask a question like that and compare Ljubliana with these cities? Pay attention, I like Ljubliana but it doesn't have the history, the art, the nightlife, nor so much events of the most important European cities, of course, it is much smaller. We have to be honest.
I live in Slovenia👍🏼🔥

LOL When she said giant rat I thought oh no....🤣 Thank you for giving us a bit of clarity on what it is! We used to have a couple of beavers & groundhogs near where we lived in the US before we got to Europe & we loved watching them. Maybe because we don't see them a whole lot, but they're just fascinating to us. Thank you so much again for the clarity & for taking the time to watch our vlog Žan!!!
Why are American tourists always lying, Ljubljana isn't pretty, communist architecture made sure of that, but it's a charming town with great people, it has a lovely vibe going on and it's incredibly safe, no pickpockets and a woman can walk around alone at night anywhere in the city without fearing anything, unlike pretty much everywhere in Western Europe these days
Thank you for this video. I just wish 'pushing ourselves out of comfort zone' didn't mean killining a very intelligent and beautiful animal. :( I know it's legal and a 'delicacy' but I think as people we should have more empathy in knowing what's right and wrong. I hope the world one day stops being so speciesist and makes new yummi food without murdering animals as we don't need it for survival anymore...
