My family go back generations in lewes. My mother was a teacher (95 now) oldest member of the Borough Bonfire Society from the age of 5. My late father set up the first antique market there too in the Cliff High Street ‘lewes Antique Centre’ my grandfather was awarded the DCM and Legion of Honour medals WW1.. many stories. I’m one of 6 kids.

My family used to live there when my dad studied at a University in Brighton. My sisters and brothers went to schools there, Priory and Pells. Miss the place, our second home.

Lewes is our favourite place to go for a walk when the countryside is too muddy. There was a TV programme some time ago commenting on the number of houses that are tile faced but look as though they're brick faced. Thanks for a lovely video.

I love Lewes, Beautiful town, great pubs & Brewery. Quite a few big antique emporia. Baltica used to have a wonderful Polish cafe

I wish to stay here if I ever had a chance I know sussex from sherlock holmes novel and when I search for it I like, this place was what I'm dreaming about, the place where I can spend my rest of life playing music while enjoying the beautiful scenery thank you for the tour :)
