What a horrible statement. BJJ is for weaker people to gain leverage on a stronger opponent. Naturally that can mean women. Roll with women.

if a woman has trauma then she should not be rolling with a man. Your partner should not have to deal with that. Just roll with the same sex.

I personally never ask a woman to roll with me. I feel weird and creepy walking up to a woman and asking for a roll when there’s a bunch of other men I can roll with in the room. If a woman asks me to roll I’ll do it but not the other way around. I don’t know, that’s just me.

I like to use my rolls with women as an opportunity to work my guard retention/recovery. I wrestled and usually im a lot bigger than them so women around my same skill level are easy to throw around, but that isnt productive for either of us.

So i agree with most, except tge trauma bit. If you have ptsd or something and tolling triggers you, you probably just should do a grappling sport, or just only go with other girls. Probably need therapy more than anything though

As a 6'2, 220 lbs man, I'd feel uncomfortable rolling with any woman because if you have better technique than me I'm literally just going to sit on you 😂 I feel like literally crushing some woman would look real bad for me.

Women offer a new perspective on training - just like rolling with the wrestler, the athlete, the giant, the skinny kid with 7 foot legs, etc. If you can't embrace differences and adjust accordingly, that says more about you than the training partner.
