As a longboarder, I can confirm that those yellow bumps really aren't that bad to ride on. Of course you mentioned the tick wheels, and I've only ever fallen off my board once when riding over these. I generally try to avoid them where possible because I wanna keep my speed up too.

I just don't see death itself as such a bad thing. The only thing bad about it to me is that others might miss me (and I won't get the chance to fully complete my bucket list, but that's not that bad).

Fun fact: these yellow bumps on side walks are for blind people and guide dogs, so that they don’t walk into a busy road.

Fun fact: the yellow thingy is supposed to help blind people know when a fork in the road is happening or when they r on the side walk waiting to cross. I've also heard that it's supposed to stop/slow down baby strollers and wheelchairs from going into the street, but I don't really belive that :/
