Last time was pulled over I was going 50 km/h in a 40 zone I got lucky. I was certain the officer would give me a ticket, but instead he asked: “What would you like someone pass by your house in your speed?”. Then he let me go! Thank you, officer, for that nice reminder!

The flashing with the head lights was quite common when I was a kid in the 70’s and 80’s.

When i think of smash and grab i think of someone stealing a car and driving it in to a store grabbing what they can and driving off. Also the flashing of lights when there is a police checkpoint happenshere also but it is just as you said illegal, but some people are still nice and do it. If someone drives slow and they go to the side to let others pass then it is common to flash your hazard lights to say thank you. Congratulations on your SVT series. Since most people here eat pizza with knife and fork then you don`t need slices.

As a Swede, I´d go in and ask as well if it did´nt look super busy. I think just a "no" was a bit lazy, maybe he did´nt know how to work the booking system or something, but he could have put a little more effort in since you explained your situation. Really looking forward to the SVT thing, you´ll let us know when it airs, right? And have a happy new year!

Really nice video, and its always fun to hear what other people tend to notice that you yourself take for granted. I was like "yeah why do we have to ask them to cut the pizza" havent even thought about it :D lots of love, looking forward to more of your videos :) merry christmas and a happy new year!

Nice to see you guys again.. :) About the need to have an appointment.. It may in the first glans see ridiculous, but if you think about it.. It mean that we have eliminated any sort of fights of who was first in line etc... And THATS not so bad in my opinion :) You know when it's your turn, no matter if someone rich or famous comes, if your next in line, you are next in line. 😀

Very cool to hear you will be on SVT, looking forward to it! About the speeding tickets, if you have to speed then it's important to still keep it under 30km/h over the limit (or 20km/h on 30 road) because over that you will lose your license for at least 2 months. My experience is week numbers are important mostly at work where it's much more practical to measure things like sales in weeks, and the summer vacations are always on the same week numbers. But also for school holiday weeks.

Another way to see it. Why didn't you rebook the schedule appointment for the car, via the app? It would have taken a shorter time for you, instead of going to the place and it's easier.

After two days of julbord related food ... I decided to go full-on South-African and make South-African food for lunch. Of course many dishes were missing but at the very least, I made bobotie, chutney mayo chicken and yellow rice. Heaven.

In Sweden and western Europe (as I know) to get a driving licence is very expensive (average 20000 SEK) and not easy at all. So people tend to be careful not to loose it 🤓

20000 on average? Price has gone up 600% in 20 years? I'm pretty sure it's still around 3000, I took the lorry license not too long ago and it cost exactly the same as it did for car and motorcycle minus the winter course for car, 800 for the driving test, 3-400 for the theory test and maybe 3-400 more in total for the photo and the fee for making the license. I don't know how much the winter course is nowadays but it can't be 18400, probably closer to maybe 1500-2000 making it at maybe 3600.

@@Smaggle84 minimum cost if you drive private, do all theory home and dont miss any test is 4800 sek atm for an B-licence, 15 000-25 000 is pretty normal if you go to driving school. I took C and CE this year. one driving lesson 1h50 min without trailer costed 2800 sek. with trailer it was more dont remember how much. If you want to work as a driver you have to do YKB with 10 hour extra driving lessons and 140-280 hours theory lessons. (depending on your age) So if you want to work as a truck driver and you want everything like C, CE, YKB, ADR, forklift, wheelloader etc it can cost anything between 100 000- 200 000 sek depending how many lessons you need and how many parts of ADR and forklift licence you want.

@@KristoferOlsson All the hours for the YKB and driving lessons etc you can get for free and even get paid for getting (CSN pays people up to around a quarter million). All you have to pay for yourself is the driving test, the theory part and the manufacturing cost for the new license, making it all around 2000 for C and then an extra 1600 for CE. ADR 1.3 and various other licenses you mentioned is also included in all the courses I can find, all you need to add yourself is the extra ADR's and the wheel loader but you can get those as well for a good deal. If you paid 100 000+ for a trucking license in Sweden you are a fool.

The uncut pizza is because we eat it with fork and knives not by hand. Not at least everyone i know. Iwouldn't dream of eating most of my food with my hands. I can say even hamburgers and chicken i eat with fork and knife.

Merry Christmas. HAHA. I will tell you a way to go when you meat a guy like that . Do not ask to come in in advance., than they will ignore you. The best way is to say" excuse me i see that you are buissy and have much to do, but is there a chance you can help me, i live quit long from here and i had an erand to do today and i have time here tomorrow, do you think you can help me?? than that guy will light up and feel important so he will offer you help. I think i heard you were living around Sollefteå and im from there. The people there is kind and will help you if you ask, but dont get into their faces than they can step back for a while. so easey does it. When you order pizza in sweden ask to get it cut and they do it gladly. Dont ever try breib a cop in sweden than you have a huge problem. Speeding in Sweden they take very seriously because of the risks to crach or smach so therefor its extra expencive to speed or drive intoxicated. And i use to think this way, it dont matter how fast you drive you will not be first or last on that road. oh one more thing for god sake scrape your windows clean not a little hole, because you can get very very high tickets and even loose your driver license if you have snow and ice on your windows. Its up to you. KJ

I like when you talk about South Africa and the differences between the cultures. Cultural differences are interesting. In Sweden we also often blink and warn other motorists of policemen, but it's a good idea to stop doing that now that we have so much gang crime. It could be that they are looking for the gangs and that we are warning them
