I will say a prayer for you Josh. I am terminally ill and have no hope of remission but I maintain my joy in the Lord. I try to never complain and never ask why me? Because in the end. It does me no good and it could have happened to anyone. I battle Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, Immune Thrombocytopenia, and Autoimmune Hepatitis every day but I’m still here. And I’m thankful despite my struggles and constant pain. One day I would love to fish with you, when you’re doing better of course. Been a fan of yours for several years now. Anyways, praying the surgery works if that’s the route you decide to take.

Hey man. Been watching since 15k followers. Remember I hit you up because my parents just bought a house in Naples florida and I saw you fishing near me. You literally brought me so much advice and even offered to get connected sometime. Haven’t checked up on the channel in a while and saw this. My heart dropped bro. I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I’m praying endlessly for you. I pray that God just uses this time as a quick time for rest for you, you’ve been grinding for so long man. Believing in God does not AT ALL make you a good person. Do you even realize the amount of preachers and pastors that are child predators? It's the largest group of people. Religion is evil.

I'm an interventional radiologist from Massachusetts ... and big fisherman! My 13 yo old son and I always love your addicting and educational fishing videos! My son just showed me this video update. I've done a number of lymphangiograms and duct embolizations. Hopefully you got the procedure and are doing well. We wish you the best of luck and tight lines soon!

We continue to pray for you during your journey. Cancer diagnosis and treatment does make one have more gratitude and think of things much differently. I also am in remission for almost two years now. God bless you as He wraps his arms around you and your family.m

​@@staytight6340 God may not always answer your prayers in the way you are expecting. Sometimes he is silent others he is not. It's up to us to decipher his messages. God is great. Jesus is my Savior. And he will always welcome you back to the fold. Remember he loves you! He died for you. He is there for you. You just have to open yourself up. Look into the book of JOB. You may find some inspiration there. God bless you!

My sister just got out of the hospital to have an ulcer removed, and she went 14 days without having any foods (not even jello or broth), so I've seen first hand how depressing and frustrating it can be to not eat food for that long! Another great verse that I thought of when my sister was in the hospital was Rom 5:3-5 - "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Thanks for the update, and we're praying you are able to heal and get to eating again soon!

Josh, I’ve been watching your videos since I was a freshman in high school. Watching how much fun you had fishing urged me to start fishing myself and I can’t explain how important fishing is to my life now, it’s almost a form of therapy in my opinion. You’re an inspiration and will pull out of this stronger than before. I look forward to watching many more of those videos in the future and wish you and your family the best.

I went thru chemo and radiation, which destroyed my taste and swallowing functions, I completely understand what you mean. Stay strong and never lose hope my friend.

Josh, I can really relate to the cheeseburger craving, after three months in the ICU, losing all my muscular mass from being fed by something really similar to what you have, it was such a struggle for me too, so yeah, we all have to be thankful for being able to do simple stuff like eating, no one can imagine how hard it is to lose basic stuff like that. Keep it going and keep strong, we are all behind you Josh.

Josh, im praying. 8 weeks ago i had a ski crash and had very serious tib fracture. I had surgery right after the incident and was left in the hospital for about 1 week after. And i can say, definitely appreciate food. My situation was no where near yours but rememberring how I felt only provides and absurd amount of empathy towards you. Im so glad your cancer is gone, that means like u said your healing. Healimg is the worst and hardest part. But what that does mean is that your on the final stretch to freedom and discharge. Were all prayimg and the fish are waiting. Goodluck Josh!
