We hit up Spring Creek outside of Georgetown Colorado for one of the hardest Jeep trails in Colorado. Don't do this unless you are prepared to break something or potentially take some damage. Big tires, a lift, and lockers are HIGHLY recommended.

Nice video!!! Wheel speed, bouncing and then traction never works out. I learned that in my 93 YJ when I broke a chromoly shaft and it also took out my Detroit locker 😭

Let me guess another (they all do eventually). broken c-clip Dana 35. I told my customers since the advent of that particular axle if you go bigger than a 31” tire and or have a locker the 35 needs to go away. Excellent Rube Goldberg trail repair! My daughter lives around Glenwood Springs and started sending me your vids. Great scenery like the Sierra Nevada range except much more expansive and many times much higher elevation.

We started wheeling Spring Creak (AKA Family Fun) back in 95. It's always been a bit of a handful but it has really gotten challenging the last ten years or so. Did you guys take it all the way over to Georgetown? If you did how was that shelf road?

We took the others way down but went back and did Saxon Road another time. It was a good drive, I have a video about that too.
Is there a bypass or easier line than the one that you and the other Jeeps took on that wall obstacle? Looks like off to the right of your line was easier but couldn’t tell for sure on video.

Nope, consider that just a gate keeper. If you can't make it up that, you shouldn't be on the trail as it gets harder from there. Winching up is a valid option as well.

How far is it to Hike to the mine? My truck isn't built up enough for this trail.

@@TrailTraveler yeah it is. Colorless, odorless, tasteless. Causes lung cancer; put mildly if you are exposed enough, either once Or cumulatively, you will get it. Other mines in that area hold bad air at depth too. Stay out, Stay alive
