I played rdr 1 back on release loved John. But loved Arthur too after thinking to myself before it released how disappointed I was we didn't get to play as John. Even when you could I wanted Arthur back 😂

Honestly for me i actually liked him he seemed cool first but when i saw how much of an asshole he was to camp members and once i saw him kill arthur i completely hated him and the seeing micah die felt amazing

I dunno how you were ever at a point where you didn't distrust and dislike Micah, right from the start he's confrontational with Arthur, he punches Bill for laughing at something Lenny said, he's racist, he's a kiss ass to Dutch, he's the reason Dutch went for the Ferry instead of going for Arthur and Hosea's plan, right from Chapter 1 there's something up with Micah, either he's a snake or he's a liability but he's by no means ever likeable

After finishing your first play through greeting Micah should be a crime

Thomas Downes is the most important mission (for me) for Arthur redemption

I knew Arthur was gonna get TB because of how mrs. Downes tells you he has a sickness, and he spat blood in his face

Even greeting micha feels like antagonizing him its funny😅

I never liked Micah from the start and I didn’t hate Arthur he was fine and uh I can’t help it every time I try to give Arthur a good ended he ends up having horrible honor.

Other than that I actually liked Arthur since the beginning and that I always antagonised Micah (I had the ending spoiled by a tik tok without spoiler warnings) this is pretty accurate

On my first play through of many different games I basically become the character in my mind and immediately start to think like they do so I basically became Arthur for a bit when I played the game lol

Im not even kidding i have never greeted micah. I just antagonized him 💀

I didn’t know John was in the game until we save him with Javier

Am I the only one who liked to play as Arthur? Like, Ik I liked John and all but Arthur was like the type of guy I am, and John was still in the game, so I didn't care for this.

If you're a campaign enthusiast like me, here's a tip: Do exactly as what the video said: Rush chapter 1. But go back and get all gold on all of chapter 1 missions and save it *DO THIS RIGHT AFTER YOU ENTERED CHAPTER 2.* If you done this, then you shouldn't need to do a new game and just load up that save file and start there, not having to worry about going back to chapter 1.

Bro Arthur was a bad ass in the beginning and I love it.

I actually liked playing as Arthur when I first played the game still do. On the other hand I always avoided Micah because he rubbed me the wrong way and proved me right.

I used to hate Arthur when my friend was playing the game but when I started playing red dead redemption 2 I slowly started to like him

I always liked Arthur and never really thought about Micah until the mission in strawberry. Even after that I just thought of Micah as a normal guy that seemed to like killing random people. I never really stopped at camp to see Micah being well you know, Micah.

i gradually do high honor,in chapter 2 and 3 i do very low and in chapter 4 i try to do low or medium honor and in chapter 6 high honor

And in the second play through we all antagonize micah 😂😂

John was my least favorite character when i started playing because i thought he was a bad father. But now he’s my favorite because he’s the best father

I’d say that a new player to rdr2 would be like ch2 Auther bur as they play the game they get an understanding for the game and gain some empathy for the characters and know which ones are good to the story and ones that are antagonists. I really love how rockstar rote rdr2

I wanted to play as Marston too and didn't get the appeal of Arthur at the beginning. In fact, probably took until chapter 3 where I got used to him and then loved him more so than Marston. I even thought there was probably a way he makes it out and that's why we never hear of him again. In the epilogue, I didn't want to go back to Marston again. It felt like such a downgrade, and I loved Marston in RDR1. I was even going to redo another run of RDR1 right after this game and I couldn't bring myself to play as Marston. Arthur was perfect. Peak video game character design.
