Give credit to Tim Burton as well. He is well known for his unique vision and ideas when directing a movie. I'm such a big fan of him since Batman (1989) that really caught my attention. 😄🙂

Makes sense because actors work with their face (that's what the audience looks at most) and often just let their hands hang at their sides (in interviews, a lot of actors say they usually don't know what to do with their hands in a scene). With magicians it's the opposite, the audience watches their hands the most so performers always have nimble, expressive hands.

When Thing was hurt in the series, I was very upset and rooted for him to survive. The actor did an amazing job!

This guy, in my opinion, was the best actor in the series. All the actors were good, but he really stood out the most. The range he was able to convey with just his hand was incredible, and props to the entire VFX team for making it seamless.

The chemistry between Wednesday and Thing was delightful. Came off as effortless, but clearly it was a huge amount of work to make it so. Hats off to all the artists. Wonderful stuff.

It's crazy how despite thing is only a hand and can't talk they still have managed to make him show emotions it really takes extreme talent, this series was so well made, there isn't a single thing about this series that i didn't like, excellent twists and turns, outstanding performance from the main actors and the whole cast and crew seriously if we don't get a season two i'm seriously ending it all because i won't stand it!! WE NEED SEASON TWO WE LOVE WEDNESDAY

I watched the show with my brother and at one point was like “Aww, how cute-“ and then paused and said “I never thought I’d find a severed hand cute.” He brought so much personality to Thing.

Let's give Wednesday some credit

Victor Dorobantu is a great phenomenal artist that he made the whole world feel emotions with just his hand. He was so perfectly casted as Thing that no other Thing ever made could top that. These are world class performers and Victor deserves all the recognition, love and support in the world !!! Also the VFX team did a brilliant job

I wish Victor would be in all the interviews and conventions, like the rest of the cast. He's as much a part of the cast as any of them

@@fexolo9705 eh, not that hard to fly him over. at least for a few weeks/months while they parade around doing the promotional stuff. i mean, if they could fly over all the crew and cast and support into Romania while filming for months.... surely they could fly over one actor once or twice. by the way, visit Romania. the nature and the hundreds of castles will amaze you. we've got sets here for 10 seasons.

Thing was perfect in every way! Thing has always been my favorite since the 60s, and Vincent did a stellar job. The chemistry between Wednesday and Thing is nothing short of brilliant.

They did a great job. Victor did managed to show all of Thing emotions. Hope for a second season.

Props to them for going with a live actor. It definitely added a sense of realism to Thing and probably made it easier for the actors to interact with the character. Massive, massive props to Victor for portraying Thing so beautifully. For an appendage, he sure could emote!

I knew they got a person to play a Thing, but the fact that they got a magician, someone entire living is working and making complex motions with their hands was a stroke of genius.👏👏👏

The hand actor is really good at his job! Couldn't believe a single hand was able to show emotions and display it's thoughts so clearly with it's movement that it was water clear what it was trying to express. Kudos to the team and all the other actors as well! This show is AMAZING

Thing was my favourite character!! So sensitive and loyal. So key to the plot. And just a hand!! Genius.

I saw a clip with Wednesday standing sideways next to thing and I started cracking up because she had a grown man crouching next to her 😂

Easily, Thing was my my favorite character in this series. He was so entertaining and expressive. Props to Victor for a great performance.

When I watched the show, I was just amazed that I even considered it a character. I mean it's just a hand. But he was great.

Thing is one of the most favorite character of mine.I cried so hard when he was on the verge of dying. Great job Victor

I cried when Thing almost died. He literally is the MVP of the whole show.

Thing was one of the best parts of the show, and the actor has lovely hands! 🥰

Respect for Thing. One of the quirkiest characters of the series and a very memorable one. A great effort by Victor and team🙌

Victor did a great job !!!!! The emotions was well received to the point I cried when thing almost died 😂😂 I replayed most of the scenes where thing was present , it was soo well presented esp the magazine flipping one . Thing was already great in the 1990’s AF but they made him better in this adaptation and he really quickly became my favorite character cause he’s so cute and endearing. I’m weary about reboots but I feel they really did the franchise justice with this one ❤️

I just looked up where the movie was filmed like... 10 minutes ago 😂 I wish I had read your comment before, would have saved me a lot of time 😁 I am amazed by the fact that many movies are filmed in Europe, and mostly east Europe. One would think they did the whole thing in the US right? Nope! 😊

I’ve passed Cantacuzino Castle 3 days before watching this show and I’m a bit disappointed in myself that I still didn’t recognize it. They did a great job with the lighting tho, the castle is a lot more colorful in real life so I’m giving myself a pass here. Glad our castles and arhitecture are finally getting some recognition, we have some incredibly beautiful buildings that often get overlooked.
