I'm completely with Jenna on keeping Wednesday and Xavier platonic. This hardly ever happens. Too many times TV and movies give in to a relationship simply because one person likes the other. The fact is, your crush won't always like you back. People need to see this more often.

That was probably my favorite part of First Kill, it was the first time I saw a scene in which two completely platonic friends who have even tried to be romantic in the past cuddle together on a bed, with zero romantic or sexual undertones.

@@JohnDeMarco007 Jenna is the main character- I imagine she was too busy with her own performance to know every thing that was going on on set. That doesn't mean they aren't friendly with each other.

Emma seems shy and has difficulty to make eye contact with camera. Seems to overthinking what she has to say and trails off a lot which is relatable and absolutely understandable. She seems so sweet and i absolutely adore how accomodating jenna is to her. She helps her feel comfortable and express herself and be herself and that's what friendship is supposed to be. I love it. Amazing chemistry. Sweet relationship definitely

Aw, Jenna is so sweet, she always considers Emma's point of view/opinion. You can see that she's not the type of person who always do the talking, she listens too. And she's bright, she knows what she's going to say and you can tell that's she's sincere on what she's saying.

They all did very well... I'm in my 40s and usually can't stand teen shows. Just because they usually make the characters very annoying and not realistic... I'm not saying this show is realistic, but the actors really did well without being annoying. And they made this universe very likable. I really hope we see more of Wednesday and this universe.

I love how considerate Jenna is towards Emma, she's always looking right at her paying full attention to what she's saying, and always cares about what she has to say. Their relationship is so cute! I really hope we'll get a season two, Ik there's high chances for it but I really wanna see their relationship grow throughout the show in the next season, because we can see Enid and Wednesday become closer in the last episode cuz of how Wednesday actually excepted her hug and hugged her back. I just love the both of them so much!

I really like Jenna's take on the love triangle and where Wednesday's friendship with Xavier can go. I liked the fact that Wednesday had no romantic interest in Xavier, and how she was painstakingly slow to open up to Tyler, and only after he had consistently shown himself to be trustworthy (you know, until he wasn't). It's a very fitting arc for Wednesday, and made that relationship feel earned. Now that Tyler's off the table though, her jumping in to another relationship (with Xavier or whoever) would feel really cheap and out of character. She's shown that she's a strong person who doesn't *need* someone else to make her happy. Though, I could totally get behind Tyler as a recurring villain with a "foe-mance" dynamic.

The chemistry and complicity that they have as co-workers and friends, is incredibly enviable. I have a strong crush on them

JENNA AND EMMAS INTERVIEW WE GOT IT

The reason Wenclair is so popular and their characters work so well together is because the actors appear to be good friends which always helps! I strongly agree that Wednesday needs to move out of a love triangle, it feels like it was done out of curiosity and now that we know it doesnt really work it, she can move on and develop a wider variety of relationships. The only thing I strongly disagree with is Enid and Ajax. It had no build up and Ajax is not an interesting character at all. In comparison to Enid, Ajax comes off as deadweight, a tag along. It didnt help flesh out either one of the characters and unfortunately, even if there was meant to be chemistry, it wasnt executed well.

One thing to bear in mind is they potentially shot more scenes with Ajax and Enid that gave their relationship more context and development, but just didn't make it into the show. So when Emma is talking about it, it very possibly from the perspective of ALL of the scenes between the two and not just what was editing into the final cut of each episode. Not saying it was hours of content, but an extra 5 min or so can change an entire character arc.

I liked the initial idea between her and Tyler until it wasn't on the table anymore, and it would make much more sense for her to go back to deciding being independant again is a better choice for the time being. I love the idea of not forcing another relationship on her and instead focusing on Xavier becoming more of a good friend to Wednesday because ultimately, what i loved from the wrap up of this season wasn't "oh we finally see wednesday open up to a boy uwu" NO! We get to see Wednesday open up to having made some genuine core group of FRIENDS who through the end of it all, some starting as rival/enemies, turned out to see each other as solid equals and develop such a strong bond and not enough of that is explored in general with B/G relationships, nevermind exploring the idea that the best romantic relationships are usually the ones that are rooted as being a great friendship, if that makes any sense. Basically when married couple say "so and so is also my best friend" like that's very genuine but anyway, I would rather see Wednesday be a single character, with great friendships, both boys and girls firstly, at least for now Gahhhh i love this show, i'mma have to rewatch it!

I enjoyed the interview so much that I HAD to watch it again, (even to see that little chemistry they exude even outside of the serie), and honestly the love triangle was SO irritating. Tyler is out of the game since he is the villain, Xavier can simply be Wednesday's best friend in the second season (even because they don't match romantically), Enid and Wednesday would match. Even because Enid herself said that they get along, and they shouldn't but they do, it's a very good friendship, and a very cute couple would also do very well. Those are my arguments. (Sorry for the mistakes in Portuguese, it's not my native language)

This entire interview just makes me smile.

Emma's character was a sweetheart that grew on me. In fact, I think she helped me come to regard Wednesday's character to be as tiresome as her schoolmates did. I applaud that they didn't tear down Wednesday's character for the sake of a character arc, but I couldn't help but want Wednesday to live "happily ever after".
