Thank you Greg! This is precisely why I love JTF so much. Harder rock tracks are interspersed with contrasting softer ballads like this one, Borderline and Old Flame which showcase Lizzy's diverse talent. Great solo as usual too.

JTF flows very weird for me and it took me a few listens to get into the rhythm of the record, but nowadays I absolutely love it. It's a great album full of great rockers and great ballads.

Only true master's write true classics, for all the swagger Lizzy had soft ballads like sweet marie and others just proves how underrated the band were.

Yes William Scott Gorham and Phil lynott wrote the song 😮😮😮

Remind me what day this is again? Only Phil could sell something as sweet and sentimental as this with complete sincerity. I used to think it was a bit of a downer on the album, but it's a song I've grown to appreciate quite a lot. I might rate it higher than you do. With the timing, jazzy chord progression and string arrangement it reminds me most of a romantic theme from a Hollywood musical. It just needs a balcony and a sunset and a misty memory of Ginger and Fred gliding across the floor.

I definitely get a completely different visual (I don't get classic Hollywood from this at all, aside from maybe the string build), but I think like you I was lukewarm on the song at first and grew to love it. Definitely a grower but definitely a great tune!

Greg stops torturing you at 3:11 Did Greg say this a sleepy song? Not sure, but seems like a dig. Great ballad, and features a fantastic solo by Scott. Nah, that is not Robbo, I will fight you.😌 Good to get Philip and the boys back on the channel. We all could have done without the first three eleven. Happy Actual Thin Thursday everyone!

A song can be sleepy and good. Those are not mutually exclusive. And you're telling me you got no sense of satisfaction of me ranking that first song "Nope"?

Actually I think Scott Gorman had a lot of input into the writing of this song. It is written about his ex-girlfriend. Thanks Gregg
