An officer in Miami spots a suspicious vehicle and begins to follow it. When he finally engages, the driver flees. After stopping for a moment so his passenger can bail, a high speed chase ensues. When officers locate the driver of a stolen vehicle, he takes off on foot, but doesn't get very far. A Fort Worth officer checks on an old friend. Officers apprehend two alleged car thieves. Upon searching the vehicle, they find a live chicken, who proves to be a more worthy opponent than the suspects.
This episode was filmed in 1996.

If you people pay attention you will see over and over on these older cops shows how the police continue to violate the rights of citizens. When two men are sitting in a car a police officer has NO RIGHT to walk up to them and ask “why are you sitting here”? This is America a citizen can sit anywhere they please if it’s a public place or private property only the owner of a private property has the right to tell a person to leave

Intuition and experience told those cops when a person sitting in a car was up to no good, and when to pass 'em by. 90% of the time they were right. Most citizens want those days back
